In spite of the talent they've lined up, this does look terrible. My thoughts first went to Alpha Flight as well. And, yes, you're bang on, that would be a great feature for CBC/Disney.

Yeah, I had to explain to my 85 year-old mother that the video she saw on FB of the PM hawking cryptocurrency was faked. It took some effort to communicate how that video came into existence. And she's relatively sophisticated in her use & understanding of technology relative to most of her peers.

I am also a twin. I found the relationship between Smoke & Stack deeply relatable... I won't share spoilers but, yes, I agree with your sentiment. I wish my brother & I had watched it together.

The source code for the TM SGNL apps (basically a backdoored version of Signal used by Trump officials) is public! Since it's open source, I've pushed it to github for easier research micahflee.com/heres-the-so...

At this point, in the absence of a shocking scandal, I suspect people who intend to vote have made their minds off. Take some time away from all this interminable waiting to smell the flowers. You have done more than enough to document legitimate info people need to choose for themselves.

There was some grumbling about "election fraud" after the recent BC provincial election, but that was minimal & short-lived. There is a problem in Canada with Internet conspiracy theories & disinformation swaying some low-information voters, but I suspect it's a pretty small fraction of voters.

Many government employees are obligated to go through security screening as part of their job. It is fully reasonable to expect being able to pass such a screening as a requirement of the PM.

Yeah, it's a bad idea for government to rely on a for-profit commercial platform to provide crucial public information or updates. They need to be accessible on reliable platforms that are significantly less vulnerable to the whims of an oligarch.
