Had breakfast with Officer Obie in Stockbridge, summer 1981. Was researching my MA thesis and just happened to sit down next to him at the Nejames counter. www.imdb.com/name/nm06431...

Those were likely crimes against state and local laws -- in addition to calling for treasonous autocracy, of course. If you're in California, call your state rep and senator.

Her statement by itself is clear grounds for impeachment and removal. Senator Padilla’s forced removal is the exclamation point to that assertion of autocratic rule.

I'm wondering whether if I were on the board I could find some way to push back harder, to make the MAGAts pay a higher price. Resignation seems like giving them what they want.

You’re right. And yet I agree with those who argue that large protests are in large part exercises in public relations.

It’s time for the protesters to go home. Turn the streets silent. This is the protest tactic. Wack the hornet’s nest only when they are calm and before they organize their defenses. After they get in place, leave. Rinse and repeat. Never face them head on. That gives them what they want.
