He'd try to sell it for as much latinum as possible, but it's Quark, so he'd be greedy AND a tad sloppy and try to court too many bidders. The most hilarious Fellowship would arise from that group and I would watch the hell out of their journey. (Bonus for adding Keevan in an undead party member)

It's also good to see that people were shouting back when Johnson tried to claim what he did when asked about Padilla.
But will they take the needed actions? One can hope.

@repgaramendi.bsky.social Team sent me these videos of the walkout on the steps of the Capitol of many House and Senate Dems after hearing about Padilla. Shout out to Garamendi’s team cause not a single source I have can find the full video anywhere. Here is

2. Fellow Californias, please call your electeds (federal and state), and demand they issue statements - e.g. @buffywicks.bsky.social's statement is a good example.

These two Palestinian speakers were coming to the US to speak at churches, synagogues, and community spaces to share about their experiences living under Israeli occupation.
People from across the Bay Area are rallying at SFO now to show their support and demand their release.

Do not let Republicans win at defining this story, since they're absolutely trying to weaponize attacks against our first sitting Latino Senator, who's just trying to fight for his constituents right now.

5. Make no mistake - Republicans are now using words like "lunge" and "charge" to describe Padilla.
That is not what happened; it's literally on film. DO NOT let them get away with setting this narrative. Call it out. Demand corrections if you see it in the press e.g. write the NYT.

It was her show, but I don't think it was her. Unless she got real blonde and looks different than I thought

I wanted to scream when I heard her say that. No one corrected her on air. No one.

Here's another angle from Fox News reporter Bill Melugin of Sen. Alex Padilla getting roughed up by law enforcement after he tries to question Kristi Noem at her presser:
“I’m Senator Alex Padilla. I have questions for the secretary. Because the fact of the matter is, a half dozen... Hands off!”

I still love his performance in Uncle Buck. The whole thing is so sincere and venerable, while also being hilarious and relatable. He was a gem.

Maybe we'll get Barf's kid. Who knows. I hear you though. I'm glad Rick Moranis is back, but no one can replace John Candy.
