Gotcha.
Good.
Lots of people don’t.
Anecdotally, the most severe beat down I’ve ever seen or heard about was from a mid-50s lesbian beating town a trio of skin heads in Portland in the early 00s, with a cane.

Open carry is possibly an option.
But understanding that any weapon can be taken from you, and knowing how to use said weapon, are also extremely important.

Suppressors are not dangerous.
They don’t have any impact on muzzle velocity, impact, trajectory, or rate of fire.
They do however reduce the noise level of the shot.
I’m much more concerned about the 2.7 Trillion that the bill adds to the deficit.

This type of shit is why my partner and I never leave the house unarmed.

@warren.senate.gov - This has been the case for 20 years.
And I don't have to imagine. I've lost family to exactly this. Weapons returned with the receiver duct taped or glued together.

Costing lives is 100% the point.
Maga knows it people will die. The only problem they have is that people aren’t dying fast enough.
So to my LGBTQ+ friends I will remind you - armed gays don’t get bashed.

Would be a real shame if a bird strike took out both inboard engines.
A real shame...

That is a completely fair assessment.
So instead focus on a different skill, such as trauma first aid, logistics, or any one of dozens of non-combat skills I can't think of the moment.

And when magas remind you that all women are liars, you should feel free to remind the the “all lives splatter” crowd that red hats splatter too…
Unless you’re not comfortable with that level of hostility, which is totally cool, and probably a better response…

I don't think AOC can get it done though.
Correction - I 100% believe she's capable of doing the work.
I do not believe she would win an election.

One a year? Damn.
When I was commuting, I had to get one damn near every month.
Also - some local places will let you bring your own oil / filter, if it’s not something they normally stock.

So, this is more of a rhetorical question given the clear text nature of the internet, but what are people going to do about it?
Sitting and complaining on the internet doesn't do anything. Sure it's cathartic, but catharsis doesn't matter when the world burns.
This summer gonna' be lit, though...

Really, that's what gets the moderation flag?
That seems... strange.

Honestly, as disappointing as the miss on the first attempt was, I wish him and his ilk good health and safety.
That way, they’re of sound mind and body when they are executed for treason on the North Lawn.

Yeah, but that’s intelligent and makes sense, so it’s not going to happen.

The dollar amount doesn’t matter.
What matters is the buying power.
I’d much rather it stay at $7.25 and rent drop to ~$550/month for a 1 bedroom apartment, groceries drop back to ~$50/week for a single person, so on and so forth.

NDA's are generally fine.
If I'm paid to build $thing for $company, I don't own $thing, $company does.
Non-competes, short of poaching client details, are bullshit across the board.
tl;dr - Protecting trade secrets is fine. Fucking employees isn't.

At the risk of getting arrested, I very much hope Trump and his ilk remain fully healthy, and there are no attempts on their lives.
Because that is the only way we are going to be able to see them executed on the North Lawn for treason...

Though there is a slim chance that option 2 will be staffed correctly which would mean I can finally get back to 40-hour work weeks + occasional on-call.
This also sets career level, changing from Sr SRE to Principal SRE.
In any case, we now return you to your regularly scheduled shitposting.

Option 1 pushes me into management, which is fine I guess. But it will be 3 years before I can get another promotion, per "company policy".
Option 2 is high risk / high reward. Current project is an absolute clusterfuck mess, requiring 16+ hour days or worse.
