Hahaha. My process involves, inter alia, creating a sacrosanct folder on my desktop that is named something like “filing version only” and then deleting the folder after filing and confirming the correct docs were filed.

But when you don’t have a paralegal (I don’t), you do it yourself and make sure it’s ready/that you’re filing the correct version. I have a very paranoid multi step process for ensuring something like this never happens. It’s not hard but, like many things, the devil is in the details

You’re welcome! I also found it very interesting, it changed my whole view of legal briefs and the importance of font and formatting. The 7th circuit has always been an interesting court and I suspect (former) Judge Posner is behind the issuance of these guidelines en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard...

On an unrelated note, all legal filings should use century school book font (as this one does, perhaps the only right thing about it). Lawyers, stop with the times new Roman, unless you only want the court to skim your brief. Times new Roman is a newspaper font designed for fast perusal

Republicans are the ones “shoving it down people’s throats” to make it seem like a huge issue, thereby forcing Dems to respond. It’s not and never has been a huge issue. Trans people have always existed but now they would like to exist publicly and, you know, have basic rights

Anyone reporting on “philosophical differences” is buying into musk’s attempt to save Tesla. There are no real such differences, they are in lock(goose)step on materially everything.

Not his fault, he doesn’t remember that because of his heavy drug use
