As a disabled person that has a lot of medical issues and appointments. And works a lot and maybe too much. It can be so hard to maintain friendships. Cause people often get upset because they feel like you're not present enough. When you're doing your best while prioritizing your survival.

Just emailed my MP urging him to vote against the newly proposed disability benefits bill. Please do the same 🙏

“It all seems to confirm that whatever a progressive approach to disability and human difference looks like, Starmer and his people are speeding off in the opposite direction.”

My latest read; an anthropological approach to understanding Brexit, as researched by my very clever young neighbour 😊

So this is lovely to see: ‘…and daughters’. Just lovely.

I feel duty bound to warn everyone that if you are walking your dog in 28 degree heat (in the shade) I will shout at you to get your dog off the pavement especially if the dog is in distress. You try walking in bare feet wearing a fur coat in this weather you stupid fucks Meanwhile D&Z are sparko

Getting rather anxious now. Daughter’s final piece of coursework is due in 40min, she’s 7 words over, and her head is about to explode (as is mine). I feel guilty for having gone away when I did, as she really could have used my help to get this done sooner (just moral support, feeding and watering)😞

Having a hoot reading Richard Osman’s ‘The Thursday Murder Club’ series, currently starting book no.4. Seriously entertaining, extremely witty, and just as enjoyable as my absolute favourite, Agatha Christie, but perhaps with a tad more cheeky humour. Highly recommend 🥰
