Morning. It’s taken two days to move daughter back home, with the contents of her studio flat now needing to be stored in our house, somehow 😫. Our son is spending the next few days at Glastonbury; hopefully he’s brought sun cream with him 😳. Have a good day everyone 🧡

Socialising at Cambridge really is very difficult, most of it happens in the evenings and she’s in bed by 8 due to fatigue. She hopes to try a couple of things that are on the weekends, day time, although weekends are usually full of mad catching up on reading/supervision essays writing 😳

Of daughters. It’s rare to see that advertised.

Clearly customer is not their no 1 priority 😔

Ps. Let’s not be under any illusions, he’s a loving son and all that, but his main reason for visiting is so he can pick up our tent he needs for Glastonbury 😂. Still, I don’t care, as long as I get a hug, any reason is a good reason to me.

I’m so sorry this has been dragging on for so long, I 🤞it gets sorted soon. I presume you have already tried, but is there anyone ‘higher up’ to call to nudge it along? Keep cool as best as you can this weekend 🙏

Morning. It’s lovely waking up this morning knowing at least one of our children is asleep under our roof- daughter went back to uni yesterday, but our son is now here for the next day or two. I know they are both adults, but they are still my babies ❤️. Have a good day everyone, keep cool 😎🧡

She enjoyed the course, found it challenging, but loved the sense of achievement after each and every completed reading/supervision essay/coursework/exams. Her health issues were her biggest issue and unfortunately stopped her from socialising (not enough energy for both work and fun)😞.

Yay to both 🎉, son’s new job and your rush hour free status.

I’m always complaining I’m too hot, even when it’s not too hot. Send prayers for me 🙏

Fantastic! My daughter submitted her last coursework yesterday (1st year of uni), with 8 minutes to spare 😫. They can both enjoy their summer now and we can both relax a bit 😊

Morning. Taking daughter back to Cambridge for her last week of her 1st year at uni. Super proud of her for getting through what was a rather tough and challenging year. This coming week is all about having fun, which she thoroughly deserves. And I can finally relax a bit too 😫. Have a good day all🧡

That’s completely understandable 😔

Oh I know, and she’s been doing exactly that, cooking and cleaning and looking after herself, but she also has a chronic health condition that causes quite extreme fatigue at times (plus a few other symptoms) so for the important events like exams etc I like to be there to help 😔

She did with 8 min to spare 😣 But it’s done, and with that her first year at uni is finished ✅

Couldn’t agree more.

15 min to go Submitting it is nearly as difficult as writing it 😫

I embarrassed myself yesterday by ‘barging’ in on my daughter’s blood test (as she was gone for ages and I got worried) - she was fine, but the phlebotomist less so, after having to take what seemed like a table full of blood vials. Daughter just rolled eyes at me 🙄

Oh I so relate to ‘the gang’ now being your best friends, as they have become mine too☺️. He is a fabulous writer 👌

The consultant we saw today mentioned POTS (our GP thinks the same), but he also requested further bloods to investigate for Lupus.

Thank you 🙏 , that’s exactly what’s going on here. Something flagged up in one of the blood tests haematology did, and they thought she should see rheumatology. That’s after seeing endocrinologist and cardiologist so far 🤦‍♀️

Morning. Bright & sunny out there. Gift bouquet to prepare then watering & weeding. Yesterday's bouquet was well received - " the most beautiful flowers I've ever had". Another "nothing in the diary" week so looking forward to sitting in the shade with a book. Have a fab day all❤️

That is one of the most beautiful bouquets I’ve seen 😊
