I think safety for kids to walk around in a neighborhood varies across experiences, like access to wilderness.
In the 1980s, when I grew up, it was fine for me to ramble in the woods & streams around a college town in upstate NY, but not parts of Philly or Balmer during crack or heroin epidemics.

Less than a week after leaving the White House 136 days after Inauguration Day, Elon Musk affirmed & amplified a tweet from a stan stating that Donald Trump should be impeached, removed from office, & replaced with JD Vance.
Vance has many Silicon Valley oligarchs as patrons, notably Peter Thiel.

Left government, legally, but not politics and influence. The latter was always ludicrous.

No.
I don’t think anyone but Islamofascists supports Hamas, Al Queda, & the Taliban.
I think many people across the ideological spectrum on Earth would like to see the Palestinian people live in a nation state next to Israel, vs. apartheid & war crimes.
What do Communists — like you? — want?

They do seem mentally ill, but I assess them to be a teenager from the U.K., not an automated account.

It’s not just “one group”: islamofascism exists across the Middle East, from ISIS to the Taliban to Al Queda, who have killed innocents around the world.
Hamas’ actions don’t justify war crimes & genocidal acts any more than other religious extremists.
I suggest you stop cursing, & start learning.

Yes, really. Hamas is a far-right ultranationalist Islamic group with genocidal intent that uses poltical violence.
They are not liberals, in any way.
The support Palestinians have from the left in the USA as Israel commits war crimes against them does not change the fact that Hamas != liberal.

This empirical research shows many Republicans trust public media & still regard PBS as an important source of info.
It is also true that many nationalists in the party ow only trust far-right media sources that do not challenge false beliefs about the incidence of election fraud or other issues.

Dr. Faust is right. “Radical transparency” means explaining the rationale for cutting research grants & defending the choices on the record.
I’d argue Secretary Kennedy denying cuts to NIH will affect life-saving research isn’t just denial.
A cycle repeats.

In 2025, @nytimes.com is uncomfortable reporting that the President, Press Secretary, & Speaker of the House are lying to Americans about what’s in a bill that would cut health care benefits for the poorest of us, but the Times DID fact-check & call their false claims “falsehoods.”
I’ll take it.

Seems to me “wounded vanity projects” to take revenge for narcissistic injury have occupied much of the new president’s time, & that the saner Republicans in Congress are the ones include those afraid of defying Trump and the risks that follow

Yes, that’s how I understand eminent domain would work.
That’s be $350B: www.investopedia.com/world-s-most... — lots of money in the biz world, but Congress could come up with it if there was an exigent need, like a national security threat or novel risk.
