They were prescient of this back in the 90s!

You are Norman Bates and I claim my £5.

Or Lossie and Coningsby. We also have our planes nicely lined up on aprons. Time to quickly build shelters and invest in SHORAD all over the place.
comment in response to post
Yep we need shorad and medium range defences yesterday. And stop selling RAF bases for cost cutting to build houses on and putting all of our eggs in 1 basket.

Heroes.

Heroes all of them . God knows what they endured

Complete idiocy. And surrender and treason by our political supposed “elite”. lammy and starmer and their lawyer mates

How the hell do you get that out and fix that (by June). Need big flotation devices and cranes etc. none of that they have . Look at the time it took for Concordia.

And that is why the rest of us have to pay more money for insurance etc. thanks fraudulent idiot with no moral compass. You parents brought you up well.

Do we know rough range?

Hopefully this DIRCM gets used throughout Europe and wider. All good work from GEC Marconi days to today on this .

Idiocy. Many other way to manage this.

How quickly does the smoke disperse, it is a nice trace back to ship. I don’t think sea ceptor is as smoky as this.

Def landed plenty of videos of it youtu.be/LVR_EioIM8c?...

You would think there is no war in Europe going on or threats of one in the pacific soon. Just spend the cash and get it integrated with Typhoon asap, F35 can come later. This is why we need Tempest sooner rather than later.

You would think with all of the AI etc these social platforms or especially the X one would be able to filter out. All of these apps should have a verified login with a one of CC check or similar.

As per your other article we need this on boxer to give it IFV / SHORAD capabilities.

It worked to a degree you kind of were encouraged to be a Good Samaritan + do things for the greater good, and people did + shared burden + had a reasonably good life, though to begin with was more forced. Was a necessity post ww2 when Europe had to be rebuilt. It just got abused by those in power.

Great we have allies but shame we can’t field 1 extra each of t45 and t23
comment in response to post
Finally! Both seen in the flesh. Hope testing is over soon and this is just a quick software update from being fielded. Maybe before next carrier mission to far east? 🤞
comment in response to post
Too sensible it will never happen. You would think we would use the foreign aid budget to create two of these use them similar to the mercy ships abroad, they sail back to U.K. in case of war or national emergency (winter crisis/COVID). Build them at home giving jobs, train NHS staff on them etc!

Hurray ! What was the original IOC?
comment in response to post
Good but we need more and quicker if only to gift to Ukraine
comment in response to post
Need one of these on every UK ship to help massively expand search and radar horizon.
comment in response to post
Because it has been asset stripped since 1990 by all governments. Time to re build and go to 3-4 pct of GDP and re build industrial base along with it. We also paid for an Afghan war in billions and lives that seems the US now doesn’t value at all!
comment in response to post
Not sure how much UK/UE one web is in Ukraine but that is one alternate. But the satellites are all manufactured in Florida! Bring the manufacturing over .
comment in response to post
By now this should be standard kit on every river, t23, t45 and then t31/t26 when they start operating. Massively expands search zone.

Hope our next test fire from sub works !

If they keep cutting the defence budget then these have got to go but shame as good training for pilots and crew.
comment in response to post
CV90 opportunity has now passed go with either Ajax or Boxer or bit of both.
comment in response to post
Hopefully also see them on the carriers at some point. Any news on project ark royal?

Err you make copies of keys that you don’t hand back. I had a spare for most places rented that I kept at work in case of loss.
comment in response to post
Don’t know about you but I always made copies of keys for any place I rented as you only get given 1 set typically. So keep a spare at work. Or you have multiple sets because a few of you are sharing. And not all are given back.

I think it is dual walled so hopefully didn’t breach but yes wtf!

Where are they made is it part uk part France?

Not international law if it was and advisory ruling in which we were not part of the case! There is specific provisions in ICJ that exclude commonwealth type discussions prior to 1987. We also paid £3M in 1965 to Mauritius.
comment in response to post
Advisory ICJ ruling to which we were not a party! It is not international law if we were not part of the court case! Also we paid £3million to Mauritius on 1965 for this.
comment in response to post
It is not in violation of int. law. We paid £3 million in 1965 for the islands which Mauritius took. We were also not a party to the ICJ so advisory ruling. Also the ICJ judges were Russian and Chinese. They are playing geopolitics & we don’t seem to see that. Also fees for Starmer’s friends!
comment in response to post
Two wrong don’t make a right. It is a bad deal , Labour are in government now with the power to stop it.
comment in response to post
Sad Russia is institutionally evil regardless if you are Russian or Ukrainian. All start at the top. Hope they lose but will take a generation or two to change behaviour if at all.
comment in response to post
Obligatory- need more! At least 2 more - we have the RADARs! :)
comment in response to post
2 targets at a time or more? But yes these in Ukraine now would be devastating

He is a Master Strategist @darthputinkgb.bsky.social . Or just an evil megalomaniac that will not stop and has not stopped attacking countries since he got in power. Could not care less for his people.
