I am interested in literary genealogies, those literary families that change the course of scientific and cultural history: the Darwins, the Huxleys, the Godwins.

Absolute tripe! Why should the United States be run as an experiment in cultural anthropology? Who benefits from this?

“Even Abraham Lincoln got retroactive approval from Congress.” So, the President CAN suspend it, right?

Does anyone attend an Episcopalian church these days? They are making it terribly hard for those who believe we are all equal in the sight of God.

Interesting that we agree on Gaza but disagree on the Boers.

Wow! The liberal commentators are almost as toxic as the water he swam in.

Terrible! A trans military is the laughingstock of the whole world.

Traitorous behavior! Good job the resistance won’t last for more than a month or two, when some of them start to realize they can trade their credentials for a better gig elsewhere.

No, collector of bones, dust and regrets will do just fine.

Well, you would know, Virtue Signaler!

What is “racist” about stating the truth? You are a pathetic mix of externalized resentment and self-anointed moral righteousness. Grow up!

Australia would exist only as a barren wilderness without the British.

Immigration IS the problem. Having many residences doesn’t make you foolish.

Strange. I thought CNN’s Jake Tapper just wrote a book about it.

What about in the military, though? Could Jews still serve their country or not?

Didn’t Biden also do this?

Mostly a lot of politically-motivated hooey. It shows the current weaknesses in the US judicial system, with wannabe judges trying to reach for power beyond their actual pay grade.

If you reposted it, you posted it. Please don’t call other people stupid. You have no idea how many degrees they have in comparison with you, dear.

Wait. Are you the guy who posted the meme that reads “the day everyone understands this image everything will change”? And it’s a picture of a lot of very small fish that looks like a shark biting?

Don’t envy those who are more successful than you.

Airport should never have been built here in the first place. It was a political pet project for the Cholla region. They claimed 9 million passengers a year would use it; only about 250,000 currently do. The airport should be shut down.

Is there ever any truth to what this clown says? Does anybody check?

This judge should be debarred. How dare he attempt to undermine the will of the American people. The judicial system is corrupt beyond measure.

The MSM consistently side against civilized behavior; it’s as though it has a death wish that it wants to inflict on all of us.

Stereotypes are mostly accurate. Think of the Big Bad Wolf, the Little Red Hen and her ungrateful friends, or the Wicked Queen and her aging looks in Snow White. Children learn from stereotypes; adults do too.

It’s impossible.

There’s also a long history of sanitizing left-wing violence, going back to Haymarket Square and its apologists. We need to condemn all those who believe violence that maims the innocent is a legitimate way of achieving your political goals.

X (Twitter) is not dying—in fact it appears to be doing better than ever—but it’s good to see BlueSky growing stronger. Progressives need to sort themselves out for the challenges to come—starting with finding a new leader and program for this new Austere Age.
