Musk is an accelerationist. The disruption is the point. He *wants* the nation irretrievably destabilized and divided. He is attempting to bring on a collapse that makes people turn to the techno barons as the only islands of protection.

When ICE Administrator Homan says "We're not stopping. I don't care what the judges think." - that is exactly the evidence that I would want if I were bringing a contempt motion against him. The contempt is clear. I do not know what the court's response will be - and there are only bad choices.

Issa Rae just canceled her sold-out event and Shonda Rhimes resigned from the board amid Trump’s takeover of the Kennedy Center

Heartbreaking news… Tonight, many of our friends were let go, and tomorrow, even more will follow. Word is that all probationary employees at NPS will be let go. 😭

A #Chicago gem, Calumet Fisheries. #kodak #trix

Went downtown and shot a roll of Ilford SFX 200. Developed and scanned at home.

Has Trump declassified the weather control machine yet? Why isn’t he using it now that he’s got the keys?

BREAKING: In a new executive order sent out by the White House, Donald Trump has revoked the federal contractor nondiscrimination executive order, EO 11246, that was signed by Lyndon Johnson in 1965 and has protected employees of businesses seeking federal contracts from discrimination ever since.

Trump's idea of "ending illegal discrimination" sure sounds a lot like rolling back civil rights.

The idea that poor people deserve to be poor, and would be better off if not for moral failings.

There is no more effective accelerationist than a rich person on TV

I was struck this morning by this story of Pamela Hemphill, who refused a pardon "I pleaded guilty because I was guilty, and accepting a pardon also would serve to contribute to their gaslighting and false narrative…We were wrong that day, we broke the law" Integrity! www.bbc.com/news/article...

Deleted. 😳

Not for nothing, two common autistic traits are hyperempathy and a heightened sense of justice.

MLK (and Inauguration) Day in Chicago, 2025

you don't need a phd in right wing extremism to recognize a nazi salute. what the fuck are we doing here.

I have an ominous feeling that the people currently saying “it’s not a Nazi salute” will soon be saying “it’s just a symbol from Hinduism.”

Even though most of us will probably never lead the charge, we all have a vital role to play in this battle before us. "Be a bush if you can't be a tree. If you can't be a highway, just be a trail. If you can't be a sun, be a star." ~ MLK

He just listed ending slavery among America’s accomplishments. Classic. As if Americans weren’t the ones upholding slavery for centuries. As if his people didn’t wave the confederate flag on J6 RIGHT THERE!

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day! Let us remember his legacy, his principles & his vision. RIP 🙏🏾

They wanted the country to be run like a business. Like… Amazon where the ceo makes a gazillion times more than the people breaking their backs delivering packages?

I hope all the Trump supporters are posting receipts for how daddy warbucks benefits you over the next 4 years.

Listening to this fool talk about getting rid of diversity, equity, and inclusion on MLK day is too much.

Elon is an evil supervillain. But also, seeing people act like SpaceX is failing because their rockets explode during testing is annoying. It's literally rocket science and they're making unprecedented progress.

Helpful thread on incarcerated firefighters.

Haven’t dropped photos here in a while. I’ve been outside.

Yet again the news looks like the movies and documentaries I watched decades ago warning about climate change. The movies didn’t predict we’d have elected a leader at this point who doesn’t even admit it’s happening.

Shot the South Pond Pavilion for the first time last week.

Loving my new wallpaper. Marina City on Kodak Tri-X.
