Do you know why the super rich are keen on classic car collections they don’t drive? A classic Ferrari worth a fortune that is going up in value is classed as a wasting asset like a rusty 2001 Mondeo, and not subject to capital gains tax. There is more to tax than income and NI funnily enough!

It does, but better pay and conditions have to be paid for, and care is expensive now. Individuals and councils are struggling as it is, and the problem is only going to get worse.
