Charlie’s dad. Psychobilly, runner, postie. If the music is loud enough, we won’t hear the world falling apart.

Wife still not home yet, she couldn’t ring or text from the venue, no signal. I had a flurry of texts this morning saying “we’re in” and “ great show”! 🤣. She’s seen them loads but was especially looking forward to this one cos of the setlist.

I was working with a new girl at work last week, she’s 21, I mentioned Pixies, she told me that her grandad likes them. 😩

I know what you mean but the last time I saw them at Glastonbury was in 1995 😬🫤

I’ve only had time to watch Bob Vylan so far and they were excellent as always. Looking forward to Amyl, Weezer, Wunderhorse and Gurriers.

It is still available, it wouldn’t work if I hit “play from beginning“ so I just started watching live then rewound from there to 2:30. Fair play they haven’t censored it either.

Yes I think I’ve got it sussed now, you can just rewind to the start, and they’ve missed out Kneecap until later.

So glad you liked them, awesome live band. iPlayer seems to be a bit all over the place at the moment.

Finally got to watch it on the TV screen and put it through some decent speakers, my god it’s brilliant. I’ll probably watch it at least ten more times before bed.

Portishead 1995 in the acoustic tent, they had to come on late because Evan Dando was being a prick! Also I got very emotional when Sinéad O’ Connor sang “Visions of You” with Jah Wobble on the other stage in 1992.

I can’t begin to understand how people live without universal healthcare, our NHS is far from perfect but my goodness we couldn’t do without it.

I was working with a new girl at our place who has just turned 21, we were talking about favourite bands, when I said Pixies she said “Oh my grandad likes them” 😩 I have never felt so old.

Even for Razorlight this is a doozy. “I met a girl
She asked me my name
I told her what it was.”

It takes me straight back to my 18 year old self, I’m on the floor of the Sunday night disco at my Navy base during my specialist training.

Ah memories of my mate miming riding a bike on the indie disco dance floor, as he thought on Def Con One by PWEI that they were singing “Big black bicycle,” it’s “Big Mac fries to go.”
