I'd be willing to bet that anyone with the name Markwayne has some inbreeding in the family tree.

The history of the NYT is a history of editors having children in the IDF. Of course they avoid talking about Palestine.

Go fuck yourself, you racist asshole.

Hey, a lot of us voted for Harris already. It isn't the white boomers you should be bitching at. It's all the young progressives who were out protesting Gaza who couldn't be bothered to vote for Harris you should be whining at, you stupid racist shitbag.

I voted for Harris. I'm not going into the streets for many more months. It's hotter than hell outside.

I'd bet that the meme's info doesn't check out.

The people in the Soviet Union and China certainly learned their Marx the hard way.

Never happen. Progressives are mostly all hot air and when it comes time to actually do something, they'd rather go protest something pointless than actually get stuff done.
comment in response to

Good. Then we won't have to worry about those radical progressives deciding they'd rather stay home and diddle themselves on election day.

They're not holding guns to people's heads. Owners are voluntarily paying them, because they know it's good business, despite what people like you think. A lot of these owners have already made Billions paying athletes hundreds of millions. You know nothing Jon Snow
comment in response to

They get paid because very few people can do what they do and still have people lining up to pay to watch them. Most people don't get paid because if they quit, they'd be able to be replaced tomorrow, and no one cares.
Players deserve every penny they make, and if you don't like it, don't watch.

I hope they disbar her. That would be funny having a disbarred attorney as the AG of the USA.

Nah. If the money wasn't going to the players in the NBA, it would be going to the owners, and they deserve the money even less than the players. No one should get paid that much for owning a team full of people playing a kids game.

For those in business, they know it isn't just about top line revenue, it is about bottom line profitability. A lot of costs, keeping the lights on, paying concession workers, etc. are similar for both NBA and WNBA.
Last I heard, most WNBA teams were unprofitable, of course that was before CC

Hopefully a lot of MAGATs on the right vote for this nonsense.

They also make choices that insure they will always be poor and exploited.

If you are expecting men to vote for women's rights, then there may be a problem with your expectations. As issues go, I doubt it makes many men top 3 or top 5 issues. For me, economy, health costs, constitutional issues, appointment of justices, and war and peace all trump women's rights.

Because West Virginia is a leader in morons. They've had multiple off-ramps from Coal offered to them for decades, and they refuse to take them. Coal is the most expensive form of energy in the US, and it has no good future, but there goes West Virginia, refusing to pivot.

A reminder that a majority of white women decided Trump was a better choice than Harris.

I'm not surprised that persistent low productivity is becoming the norm. Mid last century, the benefit of productivity went to labor in the form of pay raises and job growth.
Now, productivity gains end stock buybacks and job cuts. Record earnings and layoffs are common in the same announcement.

Not being able to go to a Calvinist Church sounds like a major plus.

So many of these radical fringe people, on both the left and right, do believe they represent middle America. It is the damnedest thing.
comment in response to

According to Calvinist thought, God creates some men just so they can suffer and die and burn in Hell. As non-elect, they are not chosen for salvation.
It is a helluva theology.

It just shows how corrupt and heretical many American's faiths are, especially amongst the conservative Evangelicals. It doesn't take much reading of the Sermon on the mount or other of Jesus' sayings to show how heretical many Americans are.
comment in response to

It's always amused me how so many extremists like Musk actually think they are in the middle.

Call your representatives. Maybe they'll give a fuck. I certainly don't care about any of the red districts that would benefit.

Blame your friends and family and neighbors out there. I'm tired of bailing rural people out from problems of their own making. Have your friends and family and neighbors call their representatives they elected, since they are the problems.
comment in response to

There's a lot of people suffering because he got elected. As long as Rural people overwhelmingly vote against their own interests, they are absolutely the least of my concerns. Rural people already clearly take more than they contribute to social services. Time to cut off the leeches.

Of course the Theocrats on the courts decided that.

We don't care what you want. Animals are delicious, we'll let you vegan freakazoids do what you want, but you aren't taking our juicy steaks, pork and chicken away. So you can go fuck yourselves.
comment in response to

Having Israel stop the slaughter of Palestinians would be a good start. Also, stopping pro-Israeli organizations puking money on corrupt congressmen. Maybe if they stopped the stereotypical behavior of it being all about the Benjamins that pro-Zionists are spreading around, it would help.

Maybe you should get fellow tribesman Benji Netanyahu to stop being a genocidal pile of crap. Having him learn the wrong lessons from the Germans certainly isn't helping the cause.
Social Media needs to promote Free Speech, not bend over to AIPAC and other anti-Free Speech platforms.

The saddest thing is the number of people who are impacted who became MAGATS like Byron Donalds or Tim Scott.
Then again, I guess Verband Nationaldeutscher Juden, or, colloquially, Jews for Hitler existed.

It's almost like if you have a collective defense with NATO it's not really a problem. Unless of course you plan to go to war with NATO members like Canada.

Banks are looking for replacements for Treasuries. The one thing keeping more people from fleeing the dollar is lack of quality alternatives.
