I love when I go to the quiet room to relax on break and rhem people come in and have a full blown conversation like they are 4 brewskies deep arguing about whether or not a hot dog is a sandwich with their mates at the pub.

Sick af but my manager noticed and let me go home wayyyy early. This job is so awesome with how they treat their employees. Also finally invested in a digital kettle and making an infusion of lemon, mexican cinnamon stick, clove, strawberry, apple cider vinegar, and a fat piece of Ginger Root.

Not gonna lie, being white but being incognegro thanks to my momma is an identity struggle I constantly battle. There's an innate desire to be more involved in the Black community but I feel so far away and disconnected. It's hard to feel accepted when I at times have to work to prove my "Blackness"
