Since that’s all he started with, I guess that’s fitting?

Well, if the shoe fits.

But the story is believable, which is “the joke” (I think).

Sure. And I was clarifying that it’s totally fine to make the Star Wars reference as I have zero heartburn about that fiction.

I’m incredibly good with *all* things Star Wars, yes, even that show… yup, that one too, and the movies.
All of them. Mm hmm. I know, I know, I hear you but that’s not how it is for me anymore.… if you’d like the explanation of how I got there mentally I’m happy to share.

Love what you love, people worth your time won’t hassle you anymore.
It’s one of the last good parts of getting older, I don’t care what people think about what types of media I enjoy.
It’s incredibly freeing.

This reminds me of where I was born. It used to look like this.

This is amazing. It's got me feeling some dark style low-slung pads or drones. If it turns into anything, how would you feel about letting me use the image as part of the cover art for a single if I write the music?

Hang on. I’ll get you the info for a health crisis line since you’re having a stroke or some other type of medical emergency.

A steady regimen of hate and greed will do this to a person.

This is the equivalent of letting Sherriff Arpaio (sp?) speak on behalf of the entire United States of America.

I was going to reply similar.
The two are so deeply entwined.
It’s the FEAR of losing “what they got” - money, access, privilege.

No imagination necessary, you just have to wake up in America and it's on full display.

But this smacks of pure theatre.
If they have to be told that, in fact, "they are in change" it means they patently are NOT in charge.

By combining letters from various available stylistic-sets, the words take on a rhythm from the repetition of a single letter or, conversely, play with these multiple occurrences to combine several of the letter’s available forms.

I’m glad you’re changing your frame of mind.
The previous position was similar to drinking poison in the hopes that the other person would die.

It means in their fictitious story they got much praise by professor person and the whole class stood up and clapped.

The whole story is either a fabrication or an exaggeration.

Thank you for checking it out! The album is a lot of fun and I've been enjoying bouncing around to most of it, and I hope a few listeners do too.

…. That they notionally ‘won’ and I have to believe that there are starting to be people wondering “what the fuck am I a part of?”
Right? RIGHT!??!?!

I’m so excited that today is the day I get reunited with my father through his last work of art before he died: a 1950’s era truck that he lovingly built, hot rodded, and modified.
It sat for over a decade while I sorted my life out, but she’s getting out of the shop today. I pick her up at 3pm.

Ten years ago I would have scoffed at you for being incredibly stupid, and now not only do I think it's possible, it seems like there are massive efforts to **enshittify** the entire thing to make the outcome probable. This thread also got me thinking...

That is insanely dystopian and you're right.
