Then run someone against the party's recommendation. @aoc.bsky.social was actively opposed by the party in her first run and managed to win and become influential.

One small correction: he was a priest in the Anglican Catholic Church, not the Catholic Church. It's a conservative schism of the Episcopalians.

I see what you are trying to say, but a strong argument can be made that those who did not vote were OK with whomever. There are obviously circumstantial exceptions, but anyone who did not vote out of apathy did not vote against the winner. In fact, it can be argued that they voted for Trump.

May I suggest an edit or two> "So much prestigious reporting is just journalists cosplaying as experts."

He's the Temu version of Albert Speer. And Bannon is starting to look like Ernst Röhm.

I'm not quite disabling them, but I am using them a whole lot less. And with enough web browser tweaking to ensure I don't see 90% of the ads that actually give Zuck money.

I am only accessing Facebook on my laptop using a browser with FBPurity installed. After much tweaking, I am pretty much only seeing friends and accounts I follow.

I am curious why state universities are listed as "private employers"? An honest question, not trying to set up a gotcha. I would think they'd be state employees.

I am seeing my Doc next week and am going to discuss the same thing.

Scholz just vetoed another round of aid for Ukraine. I don't see the Germans as heroes right now.

He could get a guy in a dog suit to be the mascot. Although they need to hire someone who isn't too gruff.

I believe they have already announced there will be no DLC and they have pivoted to the next Mass Effect game. Between that and Larian sunsetting their work on BG3, I think we may be seeing an exhaustion with endless DLCs from the AAA developers. They'd rather move on.

You are assuming they are capable of shame, which evidence seems to contradict.

Was it the “folks” or a salty successor? Aren’t we pretty sure Horemheb did this to Ay for him usurping the throne while the former was away and Tut died?
