A lot of our jumping and screaming about how democracy is on fire only gives the other side something to focus on OTHER THAN THE FIRE. Current plan: Let it burn for a while till they notice the heat. Maybe the fire will convert some dumbasses into allies.

To be very clear, I’d bet that what you’re implying happened did in fact happen. That being said, the flight logs don’t show him going to the island or anywhere clearly incriminating. So it doesn’t make much sense to focus on them when you’re trying to stir up suspicion.

You’re concluding that he can’t keep a secret because he chose to reveal this fact to Elizabeth Warren? I’d bet good money that he was just trying to take control of a story that he knew would get out, anyway. And… would you be happier if he were better at denying his checkered past?

They’ve had some practice. Between 2008-2016, two South Korean presidents were sent to prison. The first took bribes from Samsung. The second, daughter of an assassinated military strongman, took millions from Samsung, shared national secrets, and blacklisted her enemies. Sound familiar?

Devil on my shoulder: If you need to keep putting one foot in front of the other because you don't have the luxury of taking a mental health day despite the inexorable approach of orange doom, maybe you should let it all burn and watch marbles race each other. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQZ_...

Not a weird question, but if pollers all tried to sway people after getting their feedback, I think it would discourage future participation in polls. Cause you know the right would do it, too. Therefore, it seems like bad practice for organizations in the business of polling people.
