Dear design council, let the double diamond die already. Adding more and more stuff onto it is not helpful. www.designcouncil.org.uk/our-work/ski...

It's good that nobody is talking about 'vibe research'. It's bad that it is what most organizations have been doing for years.

"Design is dead" is dead.

Lies, damned lies, statistics, and KPIs.

Videogames often use different 3D models with varying details for different distances. What if, we could do the same for project documentation / presentation. As much as I hate decks, this could allow people to get to the relevant level of detail on their own.

3D icons are this generation's bevel and emboss.

Neuromarketing is just behavioral economics without ethics.

Finally design gets a seat at the table. The seat:

It's fascinating how corporations appropriate and distort language, especially when trying to obfuscate. Lay offs are there to make the organization more 'agile' (they rarely even try), and to foster 'sustainable' growth (this one is terribly egregious)

The talk about personalization completely misses the mark. People don't really want "tailored experiences", they want things that work and that means experiences that align to their mental models.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world AI adoption is inevitable.
