1. a drug dealer told me I was too good of a person to start using drugs, and I was better off losing my friend group than joining them in smoking weed, because they'd be fine, but I'm the type whose life it'd ruin. 2. "I wish I had another son so you could marry into the family."

Try: "They love me so much" or "they love my work, I can't stop them"

Also if it were outside, this would be "day" for this shadow-cloaked location. It is a very specific summer sunset after all the colours have left the sky, but the light hasn't disappeared. It lasts about an hour. Night for this location would have storm clouds.

Right now one of my locations is "always cast in shadow", so I just put "Brooding" since the scene is indoors. Like, instead of the overhead light the candles would be lit as the main light source.

Because I would write as follows: A) Int. The Room - (type of light, like flourescent or LED. Might even swap light types) B) Int. The Room - Dim to Bright (or Bright to Dim) C) Same as B, but in the text it's random for the MC D) Int. The Room - Light On/Light Off

That is bizarre.

I don't know enough about the Opus Dei to have an opinion.

And I now want a "Mr. Magoo as an assassin" film

I listened to a story today where a guy accidentally ruined a wedding by giving the bartender a hit of weed that resulted in the bartender getting hurt, the groom getting hurt, several people vomiting... etc and in a comment the OP joked "My wife jokes that I would make a great accidental assassin"

I figured it out. We're going to see the enemy.

Ooh I'll have to DM you. Sounds like a great experience.

I ask because I can see it going 5 different ways that fit the rough outline I have, which is not helpful.

Racetrack + behooves = horse racing + know the track = thoroughbreds agree. (I know the horse pun likely wasn't intentional, but it was sitting right there and I just finished a training session with my horse at the racing barn I board at)

Thoroughbreds would agree.

No?

Then I'll clarify that I'm being a silly goose, but also sometimes horses do look really weird.

Although I think the medieval drawing horse would look more like mine if he were grey.

To be fair... sometimes they're very accurate (draft horses sometimes paddle at the trot)

I love bizarre and silly. Haha. Reminds me of Dirks Gently, Odd Thomas, etc, so far.

I like the images this is pulling up for me in my head as I read.

Oh ya. I haven't updated on this in a while. My neighbour has been getting donations from neighbours directly, so has a utility trailer and pod for her belongings, and I think still enough for fuel to the border.

But if I were looking for "would it be optioned?" feedback I might use Blacklist to gauge interest if I don't have the right connections for the piece.
comment in response to post
I think not enough people consider what kind of feedback they want on their work. Personally, I've seen enough of the Blacklist feedback to know I'd rather hire a script editor for a few pages at the same cost. But that's because I can extend the feedback on those pages to the rest of the script.

Sent one scene in for a live read opportunity. I am very happy with how it turned out.

This is why so many people who say we have too many regulations without specifying don't really know what they're talking about. Nearly every law or regulation we have is a direct result of some tragedy or accident. For example, all the dense NFPA fire codes...this fire resulted in many reforms.
