I liked him when he stood up to Leslie/Dana/Sherry though. I had hope!!!

We gave them plenty to vote for, but the chose not to vote for it.

That part. And him tripping out like that didnât help. Not that he didnât have *reasons* with Andre always lurking around. But sheâs just not that into him. This looks like the start to his villain arc đ

Black folks are mad too. Been mad. âSick and tired of being sick and tired.â
Please go rally your corner.

Ugh you sound like MAGAs who credit all the white people who died to end slavery.
Logging off.

Go rally your own people. THAT would be real allyship.

When Black folks fight, everyone wins. We warned everyone but were ignored. Now weâre doing what it takes to live to fight another day. BTWâŚWhy are you so worried about what Black folks are doing? Go rally your corner.

You act like Black folks are clueless. We saw this coming, sounded the alarm, and we still got this.
comment in response to

Unfamiliar with American History, eh? Black folks bear the risks every day. There are other ways to fight this fight without JUST putting OUR bodies on the line for folks who donât have the appetite to make hard choices.

âWith less alliesâ đ
. You crack me up. Black people are already targets in this country, and REAL allies already know this. REAL allies know that itâs more dangerous for Black people to protest. REAL allies donât offer conditional allyship.

Am I the only person who read this and thought it was stupid? How would he know any of this? Why would Jill Bidenâs people talk to him??? Why is he kvetching about the Biden WH when the person he needs to be concerned about is the person in the WH nowâŚ? If Biden were still in the WH it might matter?

Because in 1980s Hollywood 30s was considered old. If you watch Moonstruck, Cherâs character was considered an old maid because she was in her 30s and widowed. 80s were weird lol. Those same people looked younger in the 90s đ

Effective in my book = action.
So I asked what actions resulted from his speeches? Are more people registered to vote? Are he and AOC drafting legislation? Are they collaborating with other lawmakers to draft legislation? Whatâs coming from them talking?
comment in response to

You can disagree if you like, but that doesnât make people who dislike AOC and/or Bernie Trump supporters. People can love Democracy and despise Bernie. Unlike election math, those arenât binary choices or thoughts.
comment in response to
post
It is entirely possible to listen to both and disagree with them. That doesnât make them a Trump supporter

Correction âŚit was *not* a great bill but it fixed some things.
Congress makes deals to get Bills passed and sometimes we donât get the exact bills we want because of that.

Were you around in 1994?
Congressman Clyburn did an interview with PBS/NPR discussing what was happening n the crime bill and why. No it was a great bill but it shifted away from some of the horrors of the Reagan and Bush years.

Not really because Whatâs been effective about his speaking?
By that logic, leftists could be considered supporters of the current administration with the way theyâre going after centrist Dems instead of the current administration.
See what I did there?

Ugh you talk just like ultra conservatives doâpainting Dems with a broad brush and blaming the boogie man de jour (MSNBC instead of CNN) for some perceived pseudo psychological pathology with silly obnoxious potshots âAccess Hollywood for ugly people.â Weird with the same tactics talking points. đ
comment in response to

You said heâs the most popular Dem. I know heâs not a Dem. Most people I see disliking him are adverse to racist and misogynistic tendencies theyâve observed in him. People donât have to like that because racism and misogyny IS personal. Furthermore, his ideas donât seem to make sense.
