It’s such a tight mechanism, like a Swiss watch. I was surprised to find it’s both smaller and lighter than my Yashica Electro, and even so, it has the best viewfinder this side of my Bronica ⭐ It embarrasses all my other 35mm cameras honestly! You should buy another, they’re quite cheap!

I need to meditate more anyway so my plan for today is when I’m not motivated to write, I’ll just sit until writing seems like the better option 😆. Put my phone in a drawer, lose the TV remote!

This little town has enough sights to be worth the couple of hours a visit takes, and it sure seems like they could do with some visitors spending a few quid in the local shops, it’s in quite a sad state for such a pretty place.

This pretty garden by the river had a wisteria in the form of a tree, which is something I don’t remember seeing before.

A lot of buildings in the town are boarded up which is kind of sad but good hunting for those of us who like to take photos of grungy old stuff

It’s the highest range around here, three recognisable peaks in the otherwise fairly flat area north of the Cotswolds, and all the hills to its west are in Wales so it’s like the gateway to the mountains for us. Very useful for finding your way to Gloucestershire airport when you’re at 5000 feet!

To state the obvious (if you saw the first pic) these were shot at a station between St Ives and Penzance

I’ve never come across those 10 rules before, and yeah that’s pretty much how I approach my photography! ☀️

Ah cool I get you :) Is it ok if they’re not taken on a lomo camera or film? I don’t shoot my Lubitel much, but I do like that lo-fi vibe.

There is a Roman amphitheater in the town and prehistoric artefacts have been found nearby including a 3500 year old arrow head. People have been there a long time!

It’s too plasticky feeling for my liking, so I won’t be using it much, but I like to know the pieces I have on display are fully functional!
