Every so often my son and I will raid the fridge and make a dagwood. The greatest of all sandwiches. This was the last one. It was divine. Highly recommend.

What'd you think of this? I hear it's way bleaker/meaner than Talk to Me

I'll mention The Fisherman by @johnlangan.bsky.social Great cosmic horror mixed with thoughts on grief. And fishing.

Did you play Sea of Stars? It does a lot of this too.

For horror I really like The Fog and The Shining. Both look amazing. I have Event Horizon and The Thing but haven't gotten around to watching them yet. For film, Arrival, Galaxy Quest, and Dragonslayer are all pretty great.

Because everyone knows you take the low road to get to Scotland first. (we actually just watched this again last night. I was surprised how much of that movie I can still quote)

I think just using the first sentence would work - mimics a fun firework box. The rest of the text could go on the back.

Nathan Ballingrud's Wounds is one of my all time favorite short story collections. Love the way it builds on itself.

Used to love being able to worm my way into a few hands when my parents played with friends while growing up. Such a fun game.

It was so good! I had way more fun at that movie than I was expecting to. I knew a little going in but still had such a blast. "we're not together!" 😂

It reminded me in some ways of heart eyes where I was surprised how much I liked the romcom aspect of it. Genuinely enjoyed the first act of the movie and then was on board for the rest.

We did that one on Saturday. Fun time!
