I would be extremely remiss if I left out Brian Froud. I dunno. This art style feels... more earthy? grounded? than a lot of other art. But it still maintains a romantic, mystical, otherworldly air. (Fun fact: The red haired woman is Brian’s wife, Wendy, in the first image.) #FantasyArt #ttrpg

On Threads, many folks saying their idea for a #TTRPG PC starts before they even look at a character sheet. This is interesting to me because with most games, I pick a role* I want to play and then the character, personality & other intangibles eventually grow out of that concrete foundation.
