Price is the main barrier to academic publishing output. I've clicked on several ads for interesting articles/books and then been presented with a bill for £90+ and thought "no way".

The singing/lyrics are always the weakest part, my fav tracks are the ones where the lyrics are incomprehensible or it's an instrumental. I think this op understands why I hate popular music.

Labour are telling everyone that Reform are right and so everyone should vote for Reform. Never seen such self defeating imbecility from a political party. At the same time they're telling their base that the party values have changed so they should not continue to be supportive in any way.

This was heartbreaking. Real evidence of shifting baseline syndrome. Lived experience of Salmon spawning in the river in front of what is now the Wetherspoons in central Salisbury. Going to the town path to see waders and rare gulls. Completely impossible now and has been for decades

Contrast it with The Last Of Us where we've had (sry spoilers) a mass invasion of 000's of infected and the death of the main character in the first 2 episodes. Where do they go from here to keep the momentum going? 2 opposite ends of the spectrum I guess
