DHS and ICE tend to stay at mid-tier brands of national hotel chains with federal GSA per diem rates. Mid-tier hotels operated by Marriott, IHG, Hilton, and Choice (e.g. Hampton Inn, SpringHill, Staybridge, Doubletree, Embassy, etc). They try to stay within a half mile of a major freeway onramp.
