I didn't check my work but that's the figure I've seen.
If you think about it the expenses were basically like rent and flight school. And they didn't have to learn how to land.

Arguably a version of Simpson's paradox

But it can look the other way when you narrow both groups to just Dem primary voters, because that's a much more selective filter for white people.

This can lead to some big misunderstandings. E.g. it is sometimes claimed that black people are more socially conservative than white people. Not true! Black people are much more socially liberal.

still while it is sadly believable that israel has killed 400k gazans, i would like to see a direct argument for it rather than an inference from labels on a map. (for example, if anyone lives outside the gray "enclaves" on this map, they are not counted. does anyone? i don't know.)

sorry now i'm getting it.
it's this figure from the report, which includes Israeli population estimates. if you sum them, you get 400k fewer people than pre-10/7 population counts.

i've downloaded the dataset and it doesn't appear to include any population info. it's got geospatial coordinates for "aid" centers and an IDF no-go zone.

Does the post link to the correct report? When I follow the link, I find an analysis of the "aid distribution centers" and not an analysis of total deaths.

Today the GOP justices on the Supreme Court endorsed migrants being sold into slavery.
They'll claim otherwise, but that's the reality — today's decision permits Trump to send people from countries around the world to any global hellhole that accepts a U.S. financial incentive.

The American security establishment is not "over" the 1979 revolution, or for that matter the Cuban Revolution or the Korean War.
I would say the Iranians are comparatively much more "over" the coup of Mossadegh, b/c they have wanted to normalize relations with the US in spite of the history.
