Is this really the principal aspect of the principal contradiction of the moment?

What actually ended up happening was that I would bring something up off the list, and she just thought I was being considerate. One day she asked me how I knew her so well, and I just read her off the list. She was almost in tears, she said she felt so seen and understood. I love that for us!

"They" is whoever made the original complaints of antisemitism on which NIH are acting as judge and jury. Possibly there are some Jews at the other end of this chain, possibly not, but is it incumbent on the NIH to recuse themselves from collaborating in rumored injustice?

This is literal scapegoating. If what they say is true, I would prefer they file suit against the institution and prove the discrimination in court. Otherwise, this reads entirely as hearsay. It's not good for the Jews.

Can you tell me what aspect its complexity violates our assumptions, here?

Nah, our social fabric was dying steadily since WWII, but we went into hospice around 2015; 2020 put us on life support. It's really a broken world. Folks don't know how to approach, or talk. Very segregated, shy. Without corporate mediation, they're aliens to one another.

> In one testimony, a witness who arrived at the site after the attack told the Commission that he saw bodies of women who seemingly had been hiding under tables, in the showers and under the beds.

> The Commission also documented information indicating that women at the outpost were subjected to sexual violence. This includes bodies being found undressed and isolated in separate rooms, showing signs of physical abuse and sexual violence.

If you're caught cheating, you don't win. The power of a government is predicated on its legitimacy. Even a feudal monarch has to convince the people. That's what all the majestic pageantry is for.

Touché. It's more about having these things on record. Many pebbles make an avalanche.

Pop quiz for all Americans: how far up the logistics chain of vendors are you from ICE, and how soon can you drop them as a customer?

Arresting religious leaders (reverends) and members of the judiciary (judges) typically occurs during the later, consolidated phase of fascism, often called the "dictatorship" or "totalitarian" stage.
