Found a bag of figs that had been unsealed in the back of the fridge for far too long. They were so dry I couldn't make a dent in them with my fingernail. Put a couple of them in this bowl of soup. I'm doing that again. Marvelous slightly chewy savory spiced sweet fig. Yumm!

Discovered a great use for homegrown tarragon. Cover the beard print area with tasty leaves. Take bite, including all the tarragon. Presto! Mouthful of yummieness and peanut butter free beard. That plant is looking even more beautiful.

In digital systems a three state solution is "one, zero, or don't care". The political equivalent seems to be "Democrats win, Republicans win, or I'm eating homegrown greens."
