is it viable for me to completely live off of without assistance yet? Absolutely not, but every convention and online sale i make has been letting me see it as a path that i can make work for me

I hope i have at least a good few more years with him 🥺 he doesn't seem to be slowing down or anything but he is now within that lower estimate on lifespan, so I'll worry a little

I trimmed it a few months ago to try to get it to grow more outwards rather than just extending the vine (which was getting FAR too long), and i mean... I guess it's technically doing that but it's crowding the same 3 growth points rather than going along the whole thing LOL

Oh maybe!! It's been a bit odd with growth in general since I trimmed it a few months ago (I'm gonna get some keiki paste to try and encourage it to grow outside of the 3 points that it's crowding), but it would be great if it would finally start trying to grip the pole while it's at it!

I know it's a lot of work but i genuinely despise the fact that i know that probably 75% of these applications I'm sending out aren't even being put before a real actual person's eyes at ANY point before rejection

I'm currently waiting on an SD card reader arriving because the photos are refusing to import directly from my camera at any reasonable speed, but expect at least some new listings to go up later today!

To be fair it's a second hand camera from 2012 but man. No way in hell i can afford even most second hand DSLRs right now :')

All i wanna do is make art that people enjoy and to live off that to the extent that i can and also be silly ðŸ˜

It's so frustrating. I don't technically get directly affected by it since at the moment most of my sales are directly in person at conventions, but I *hate* having to just deal with knowing that selling my keychains to people in the US might force them to pay over $50 for like. One shaker keychain

I don't wanna turn off shipping to the US entirely 😠I think I'll just be putting a disclaimer in that if you're in the US you'll probably have to pay an extra 145% in tariffs on my keychains and to budget that accordingly 🥲

Yeah it's really easy to tell who dislikes it for legitimate criticism and who hates it in bad faith :/
For me i had like 3 separate pieces of awful news (like, each one individually would have been hard enough to cope with) hit me/my family in the span of less than 2 weeks around early access

People are very very overdramatic and too far in their own head about it - I've seen people criticising it for things that outright didn't even happen in the expansion too which is like?????? Huh????????

For all of its flaws I can never hate Dawntrail. In a week where I suddenly had to grieve so fucking much, an expansion touching upon grief and coping with it coming out at the same time hit me probably harder than it would most and i can never, ever hate it for that
