We have a similar issue here in Coimbra, Portugal, where neighborhoods are using the fact that 11 trees will probably be cut to allow a new BUS exclusive line to be build, but its being hijacked by NIMBYs so they dont lose their free parking spaces they would lose by the BUS line.

I feel you, as someone that's highly affected with huge crows I developed ways to deal with it like ANC headphones, reading books. I rather do that that live inside an eternal traffic jam, also more room for people who actually need to use private transportation.

I feel the same while riding my bicycle around town:i connect more to people waiting at bus and metro stops than people inside cars making everyone's commute worst.
