We should as progressives want tariffs on, for long term gains as his and the GOP’s popularity suffers.

Calling him “taco” is good, though. But for a bigger reason than memes; Tariffs at high levels will make the economy worse, and he will have to own that, leaving Reps worse off in 26+28. A GOOD economy means Reps don’t lose too badly in 26, win in 28, and win big in 30 + 32 after redistricting

Turning the racism dial up will never work for dems. The problem is, they won’t win any republican votes unless they do. So do they just rely on republicans “waking up” one day? I doubt it.

It’s also important to remember that every “legit use case” is actually fake and doesn’t really need AI
comment in response to post
I have a guess, sadly. A lot of the Dems are likely, if not pedos themselves, in cahoots with those that are

Hell yeah

Gotta do something about it besides post, if you believe that

Did they check the data? Low-info voters swung right this past year.

Manned planes will still have a place most likely, but Peelon is far less incorrect here than he usually is. Drones will be a huge factor going forward

The selfish rot at the core of American society has only become worse since COVID

I think likely no. Mars missions would make more sense as a one way trip.
comment in response to post
The astronauts in 0G suffer ill effects, but they do in fact survive. Same would be on Mars: you’d see health issues, but nothing that would cause mass casualties or doom a long term mission. The real question is, after 2-4 years on Mars and in space transit, would they be able to return to Earth?
comment in response to post
The solution to all this is, as always, do away with religion as much as can be achieved
comment in response to post
If any mission is going to have people on Mars long term, the lower gravity issue is one they’ll certainly address. 40% of a G versus the micro-gravity of a space station makes it far easier to help fix as well

Put a roof over parts of the Valles Marineris, start there

Are you into golf at all? The US Women’s Open has the final round today

Not meant to start a fight. Just something important to remember, IMO. Trump voters deserve sympathy only under the circumstance they are voting for and supporting Democrats now. Any other circumstance, IMO, fuck em

Oblivious to evil is still evil, because it enables it.
comment in response to post
Fascists or not, they knew or they didn’t. None of that matters. What actually matters is curtailing the power of Trump supporters by any means necessary
comment in response to post
And that exact loophole is how a lot of grants will still get funding. Just lie/massage the data and say it is AI related
comment in response to post
He should be a victim of that and also everything else that can happen to a person. “Trump is targeted unfairly” OK good

It would be very nice if conservatives were not racist

If it was truly up to me, they wouldn’t have been allowed to remain states at all. Georgia is now Colony of New York State. Florida is now Colony of Connecticut and so forth.

It’s the second time we’ve done it, too. Southerners were allowed to join congress not long after the civil war. Huge mistake. EVERY single southern state should have completely lost representation for, at minimum, 50 years.

You’re forgetting something very important Companies making money for literally any reason is always bad

My favorite is Thingy You Have To Press Down And Then It Rises Up And Turns Off But Way Too Fast So You Don’t Have Time To Wash Your Hands Although that’s more of a stadium type faucet design than hotel one.

2020 also had the highest voter turnout in history. This was due to mail in, and all the extended voting hours.
comment in response to post
This is so true. The fact that southern states were allowed to keep existing after that was a giant whiff.
comment in response to post
I would lowkey like that, except only under Democrats

I think it’s becoming clear the bond market movement on “liberation day” made them all piss their pants. Now they’re scared and flailing

It’s pretty clear global warming will never be solved

This is because the dems think their own bills are good, and think incorrectly the American people will agree
comment in response to post
It should be noted people (seem to) want to vote for right wing bullshit
comment in response to post
Pretty much, yeah. Would need a 2 step scenario of successful revolt, followed by the revolutionary leaders giving up tons of their newly found power and money. It’s a pipe dream
comment in response to post
It is very answerable, it is just unlikely, nigh impossible, to happen without some sort of revolution.
comment in response to post
If they’re not careful, the whole damn bill could be neutered cuz of it. But this thing has to get out of the senate first before any of it matters.
comment in response to post
Exactly. Capitalism has a glaring fatal flaw, that can only be fixed through deep structural reform. That fix being, effectively: rich people should have less rights than poor people.
comment in response to post
Seems likely courts themselves will react pretty strongly to that clause, should it pass. Or they’ll just have a security set at low levels to skirt it.

Multiple states have it for governor, as well. Either way, a maximum of 75 years old [at time of election] is a very generous upper limit, it should be made law, and I think any disagreement with that is irrational.

It depends on two things. How radical will the backlash be to all this, and how radical with those be elected to un-fuck it. If both are radical, it can be undone and reformed quickly. But I don’t think either one will be. The American voting public simply doesn’t care.
