Came to say all the things everyone else said. I'll also add that its balancing mechanic is very frustrating (to me) & you have to deal with it the whole game, the story is pretentious & inscrutable (to me), & the payoff storywise was just not worth it (in my opinion). But others love it!

Amazing Stories. Man I loved that show as a kid in the 80s.

I was in between high school college. What a great, nostalgic list.

I'm so sorry. Perfect song, perfect album, very imperfect situation.

And yes, it's a perfect album imo. As is Head Trip.

Another fan! There are dozens of us! One of my favorite bands, and favorite albums, and you're super fortunate to have an original pressing of this. Amazing. Searched high and low for this for decades.

Now I just need a reissue of "Head Trip in Every Key" and I'm a happy guy. Thanks Superdrag/John Davis for finally doing this.

I don't say this to criticize. I say it because I care.

It's one of my favorites. I think No Country and Fargo are their two best. But very tough for me to rank Inside Llewyn, Miller's Crossing, Barton Fink, A Serious Man, Lebowski, and Raising Arizona after that. Depends on my mood I guess.

There are some typical dashes of nihilistic Coen humor, but it's more of a drama/introspective. It's centered around the early 60s lower east side folk scene, but that's less important to the story than being sort of a loser's version of the Odyssey/life is a circle and you end up where you started.

Interesting that they've tackled The Odyssey in at least two different ways now in O Brother and Inside Llewyn.

What a picture. One of their best.

What, you don't find it helpful to shit in people's faces?
comment in response to post
Why yes, yes I do want to live in an echo chamber. Have you seen the world outside, lately? It's pretty shitty out there.

I would call him TANGAM instead. Trump Almost Never Gives Away Money. Then he'd be like "oh yeah? Watch this!" and start tossing free money out of windows

Thanks for doing this, Paul. Very fun. We'll be tuning in next year, too!

I'm not complaining, but I definitely thought this would be a top 3.

The Martin Scorsese effect. He's used it in Goodfellas, Casino, The Departed.
