I never read BNW (embarrassing, I know, not for the lack of trying!), so that analogy wouldn't occur to me, but it seems entirely apt!

I'm getting an "Access denied" message when trying to view this article, any idea what might be the reason?

It's small steps! I remember thinking I couldn't live without cheese, and now it's been over a decade and I don't miss it at all. I really recommend Meera Sodha's column in Guardian for some great veggie/vegan recipes, if you like cooking.

Congrats on quitting smoking! It was hands down best medical decision I have made. It's been around 9 years now! And vegetarianism too, that's brilliant 💕

I'm well enough! Missing Scotland! How are you? Love the moomin t-shirt! Xx

Ha! I was just drinking coffee from my moomin mug and so I mindlessly typed moomin in the search bar here, and there appears a familiar face! Hi Paul!

Well that's a step in the right direction. Was getting sick of seeing Printables flooded with AI slop.

The latest version of "What's wrong with the Cass Review" now includes the peer-reviewed version of the Noone et al. article on critically appraising the Cass Review. I have also made some minor edits to the introduction, e.g. adding the fact that the Cass Review cost £3 million to undertake.

It would check out, they are usually ~ an inch. They are characterised by a thin, thread-like connection segment between the thorax and abdomen. They very rarely sting and are usually not aggressive, they have however caused plane crashes by building their mud nests inside pitot tubes :O

How big is it? I'm by no means an entomologist, but iflooks a bit like mud dauber, and if it is that, it's harmless (unless you're a spider), and a talented potter among the wasps

It's an old one, but Starlee Kine's "Mystery Show" from Gimlet is extremely sweet and a little gem, and Erica Heilman's "Rumble Strip Vermont" is an excellent pod about local communities, guided by kindness and caring, but can sometimes deal with heavy topics. Enjoy your trip!
