Tbh, it’s hard to believe that Star Wars is supposed to be fun when it seems like most Star Wars fans spend the majority of their time talking about how much Star Wars sucks.

Lol, we got the call yesterday that our automaker isn’t going to be honoring the price we signed paperwork for when we ordered a vehicle a month ago.

That’s great, but in this era of shamelessness, I expect we’ll start seeing activists like that physically removed and/or arrested.

Meanwhile, I had to read the copy 3 times to find the weird, because I was distracted thinking about how much I love ranch style beans 🤷‍♂️

It’s funny to me because I initially followed because I enjoyed their interactions w/ KB Spangler. Then I enjoyed the gardening rants (even though idgaf about gardening). Then I read a story & now I’m enthralled.

It is cool to see one in the wild.

Peanut butter filled pretzels are much better than they have any right to be.

A paper tiger at least has the appearance of fierceness. Paper kittens, maybe.

I used to just assume that people on Twitter who did that were trying to maybe be mildly funny, but mostly trying to avoid name searching trolls. Not sure how much of a thing that is here.

No worries. Everyone is struggling. Do what you can, when you can.

The first time I tried v8, I thought that it tasted very salty, yet would taste better if I added some salt.

Honestly, given what a wild ride it was, I was shocked that they pared it down to only 11 hours.

For the first time in my life, I’m suddenly upset about the rising price of eggs.

Neither happened, and then people started acting like they thought he was their progressive hero 🤷‍♂️

🤦‍♂️ Okay, so I feel like when Obama first nominated him, more people realized that he was kind of a shit, that he was a conservative who Obama put out like a lure hoping to either shame the GOP or break their obstruction.

Ah, yes, that manliest of activities, eyelash grooming.

All my normal usernames were taken, so I thought it was a mildly amusing version of “real,” as if I was a celebrity. It might also be recognizable to fans of a particular talk network (but nobody online has ever commented on it)

Google didn’t help with that acronym. What’s GOOMCR?

I like that they also told the AI that it was an expert. But I most appreciate that their goalpost was that when they had the AI pretend to be a judge, it didn’t hate its own output from before.

If your bed inclines, they’re an absolute lifesaver. We’ve also found some sheets that already have an elastic band at each corner.

in my neck of the woods there are a significant number of construction companies that used to be owned by the wife.

Sure, but how much does it cost? As much as a company’s legal department? Look, I’m not saying it’s a *good* idea, and I don’t support it, but however much ppl try to shine it up, most AI projects are trying to replace well-paid skilled pros w/ cheaper prompters & techs/devs.
comment in response to post
Because if the AI can replicate it, you don’t have to pay someone to do it.

I have tried so many pillows in the last few years, trying to minimize back & neck pain. Young me used a jacket or backpack and was FINE. Aging is bullshit.

Look, I really don’t want to get bogged down in an argument, but I’d like to gently suggest that your concept for the standards that judges are held to is based more on pop culture than reality. I’m basing this suggestion on the fact that I’ve seen 4 diff litigators say that this isn’t a big deal.

Robert Earl Keen has a couple of Christmas songs that I’m fond of.

Most of @tkingfisher.com’s female protagonists could resist the temptation, but roughly half of them might misplace the dang thing.

Remembering the little rental place that was by my gf’s parents’ place. He’d brag about how he didn’t have a porn section, but had a staggering number of unrated softcore movies interspersed throughout his other movies. Which, cool, except I’d accidentally get one & watch it at my future in-laws😬

That’s a good tip, but I’m absolutely not going to trust myself to remember and execute in such a stressful situation

My wife and I have an email domain that is similar to a common one, and so many people have just “corrected” it without double checking. It used to be terrible when my wife ran an online business. “Sorry, you paid the wrong person, you’ll have to pay again if you actually want your stuff.”

Yeah. Also, be careful if you do any lifting or manual labor. I didn’t think losing fat would affect that sort of thing, but sometimes mass is mass. I lost a lot of weight, then frantically started trying to put some back on so that I could do my job😬
