The only one it hasn't happened to yet is Stephen Miller, who possibly is built different in the sense of being even more amoral and evil than most of the standard-issue Trump lackeys. I wonder whether he makes it through 4 years.

Wouldn’t we prefer that people read an article rather than just the headline, in the interest of being better informed? I guess I’m failing to see why more people clicking through to read the article is a bad outcome.

Someone once told me the secret to growing plants is 'benign neglect' and I tend to agree.

They only donated $250 to his senate race per Open Secrets which I would suggest is a tell.

Interesting. There is, overall, less rebellion now (lower rates of adolescent substance use and sexual activity than in past eras). Maybe contrarian assholishness is making up for that.

I don’t think you’re weird. Different people find different platforms useful. I found it a bit useful for getting the idea of Italian, but some of their vocab choices can be a little mystifying, like why am I learning owl and horse when I don’t know car and hotel, or whatever.

I keep weighing this but Trump is such a … unique … personality, it is hard to compare him to my family members.

Did not say you were wrong. I’m just elaborating on why people might have different experiences with it.
