me? I'm fine with both taking a break of they truly are doing it for valid reasons. But I'm one man. But Pulisics timing given status of usmnt team simply feels worse.
comment in response to post
When did I say when or who can't? Donovan got shit for doing it and still does. Why are you protecting Pulisic?
comment in response to post
And that's fine. Just clear he's not the usmnt savior we all hoped he be. Ask yourself would you take a prime Pulisic vs prime Donovan if you needed to rally for a goal and you have your answer.
comment in response to post
Landon is a player who is at his best when he's comfortable. You can judge that all you want but when he put on US jersey you knew there was always hope. Pulisic operates at his best around great players. He's not the guy to put the usmnt on his back

Well meant more there is mixed stations Ionna and others being built today. There is still a CCS population that isn't niche as chademo was. Just unsure when EA or Ionna or whoever starts turning off CCS completely. Think it'll be 5+ years. But very least adapters will still work.

The amount of free to play games even for "hardcore" gamers is quite high as well. Gaming can be as cheap as you want it to be.

Look I get it but AI is what powers FSR and DLSS. There are valuable AI based technologies for gaming. I use copilot often for work and find it's value but yes it feels everyone wants to make sure you KNOW they have AI.

I just don't see a big switchover happening in next 5 years. Enough CCS out there and new CCS stations still being built. If you're leasing def doesn't matter. But I would still probably buy an adapter for CCS if my car had NACS unless you primarily just stay to superchargers.

Wonder if Google released Android beta to show people they (re)did it first.

It's not: www.theverge.com/news/682011/... They have plans to bring the experience to current Ally devices at some point. But it's still missing the dedicated Xbox jewel button as well.
comment in response to post
Yep it's still windows at the heart but it integrates games from other launchers within the Xbox experience.
comment in response to post
It's the collaboration with Microsoft to bring the new Xbox windows OS alongside the Xbox jewel.
comment in response to post
It cannot unless it's Xbox play anywhere. It's PC games
comment in response to post
It makes sense when they are building next Halo in Unreal 5 and likely introducing it to PlayStation players. A remaster in unreal 5
comment in response to post
This isn't their next Xbox?
comment in response to post
That handheld has been put on hold for now as they focus on the PC improvements likely due to a lot of pressure by SteamOS
comment in response to post
Yes. Put in a larger SSD a few months ago. Have Xbox looking at both drives but default is larger drive.
comment in response to post
I have not had either of those issues. Maybe a fresh install fixes it for you. There are clear areas they can continue to improve but it functions as a launcher should.

Unusable is clearly wild hyperbole and then sullies any rational take he may make after it.

State of Decay 2 was sneakily one of the best supported games for years. Looking forward to what they do with SoD3

Glad to see the IP is still kicking

Its acutally insane since moving to Raleigh, I haven't attended #TST once. Need to change that this year.

...and wants better build quality then the bevy of cheap chromebooks.
comment in response to post
I saw that actually. Could be early days with less native apps, but that def has improved over the last year. I wouldn't quite jump to ARM if you rely on a lot of third party apps, but it makes a decent argument for college kid just living in a browser and spotify who wants good battery life
comment in response to post
But I do agree getting devs on board will require increased ARM ownership for windows. I did just buy my father an ARM laptop though given he primarily just interacts with a browser and his old laptop had terrible battery and hardware quality.
comment in response to post
I think it's tough to compare their original ARM efforts with what we're seeing today. Even if the compatibility layer is not at its best, it is miles better than the previous situation. I would say MS has shown their commitment and that's likely what got some hardware partners on board too.
comment in response to post
I agree with much of what you said, but I think forcing a full reunion just cause fans would like it shouldn't be a focus. I think showing some realities of people moving in separate directions was a fine choice. Fully agree with making up a trilogy as you go, weird move in the modern era.

Whats your view on future of Windows and ARM? I keep feeling like this probably should be the final form for gaming handhelds but it requires devs commitments to ARM.
comment in response to post
Well mostly due to games not being compiled in ARM. I think the future of windows gaming handhelds SHOULD be ARM but it requires devs to support ARM. Hoping Switch 2 helps accelerate some efforts around here.

I think its other way around, if he didn't give a shit, that would allow xbox to branch off from windows. But he still wants windows in the home cause then he can leverage AI (to your initial point)
comment in response to post
Microsoft has to be ok with Xbox not being tied to windows so directly. SteamOS clearly highlighting value as a handheld OS and not having a native Xbox App on it is just being stubborn. You can keep working on your streamlined interface and also have a SteamOS support.

Noticed this when playing a youtube video in whatsapp. Sigh

Looks like this is actually user created but still looks great!

I went to bed on this skeet btw. Color me surprised.

Absolutely. It makes it enjoyable to have conversations about gaming again.

Yikes with this post guys.

Your argument here becomes more a disagreement with 2nd amendment/state carry laws. Which is fine, but just know he didn't do anything illegal by carrying a rifle on his person. Do I think citizens should be able to do this? Nope. But he was within his right to.
comment in response to post
Think I've been blocked but yeah it's not controversial. You can be pissed our culture has empowered people to walk around with high powered rifles. But to anything, that should've been deterrent from attacking him physically.

And I imagine less motivation from car makers to implement if they ALSO still have to build their own OS for non-iPhone users.
comment in response to post
It feels like the mistake of Apple here is really just demanding an iPhone for this full experience. I think Android Automotive approach is better, but puts a lot of onus on car makers to not be lazy about the deployment. I suppose this allows car makers to be a bit less hands on if implmeneted
