of course Joni Ernst is more than happy to point out we're all gonna die, so what do you need these regulations for anyway?

...and took all our data with him.

I'm sure Jake Tapper is in the process of writing a book about this right now...

Wait, a Republican lied?!?? Let me go get my shocked face.

Another man baby wailing in front of the cameras like a toddler being told he can't have a new toy.

C'mon Iowa, you know what to do.

The ads just write themselves. I hope Dems take advantage of using their own words to highlight the inhumanity early and often.

But you repeat yourself...

Amazing how Rs used to yowl about death panels when it came to universal healthcare--now "we're all going to die" is the party mantra as they cut care to give billionaires more money.
comment in response to post
I hope Congress is opening an investigation on how much information was stolen and how many decisions were made while DOGE was being run by a drugged-up incompetent. And I hope the lawsuits come rolling in to get the US taxpayer their money back. And their government.

Jeezus Pleazus, could we please focus on the guy who's currently turning the Oval into the Offal right now????
comment in response to post
Are there enough Fox News folks to fill the judiciary? Cuz that's where everyone's coming from in this admin. Except Miller. He came straight from Hell.
comment in response to post
Hey, remember when Rs were all up in arms that Obamacare would have death panels? Here's yours. But like Ernst says, "we're all gonna die" so who cares, right?
comment in response to post
This just continues the rampant drug abuse from Trump's first term, where Dr Ronny was handing out pills like candy all over.
comment in response to post
the Brownshirts have arrived.
comment in response to post
yeah, talk to your fellow Rs. The only Rs speaking up are "ex", "former" or "retired". Everyone active is spineless.
comment in response to post
Hopefully he loses at trial, as he usually does.

Shouldn't they be actively investigating whether the current vaccines will work on this strain, or if we need new ones? Oh right, I forgot--Bobby Brainworms is in charge.
comment in response to post
Maybe. Or maybe, as a pathogen, it will evolve to be more deadly. Cuz, you know, what doesn't kill you mutates and tries again in disease world.
comment in response to post
However, he's leaving with his pockets stuffed full of our tax dollars, leaving behind a trail of death and destruction that will take years to fix.
comment in response to post
Hey remember when Obama wore a tan suit and the mainstream media took to its collective fainting couch? Good times.
comment in response to post
Simple: tax cuts for the rich to decimate revenue, and cutting services for regular folks to pay for it. Oh, and make all the rich people goodies perm but the regular person crumbs are temp. And let's give the military even more money and make sure it gives Trump property $ from FEMA for police.

The only fascist here is the one posting. Completely fact free, too, but at this point that's to be expected.

His dementia on full display...he had to be guided back to wherever he came from without greeting the cadets or saluting them as every other President has done. Mainstream media: crickets. Fox/NY Times: "What a speech!"
comment in response to post
And since they get their money from us, we the taxpayers will be hosed for this vanity project.
comment in response to post
Is it also required to showcase that every single Trump lawsuit was dismissed for lack of evidence, the Mules film was pulled for being a lie, and that many of the attorneys involved were disbarred for malpractice? That Fox lied and paid $787 million for it? That voting machine lawsuits are ongoing?
comment in response to post
Hard to hear anything when your head is so far up Trump's ass...
comment in response to post
I suggested this in his first term and still think it's a good idea: split the red states and blue states and implement all the Trump policies in the red states and use the blue states as a control and see what happens. If the policies work; great-- we'll roll them out nationally. If not, we won't.
comment in response to post
Sorta. My kids have to suffer because of Trump voter ignorance on a larger national scale. In fact, we all do. So having a hard time sparing sympathy for those who voted for this, and am hoping this means their kids gain a different perspective based on their experience.
comment in response to post
yeah, I was thinking 'how about neither?' myself...

No. We have the right to know. We funded this (unwillingly)

Sad when a so-called Christian is skipping around throwing laurels at a convicted felon for ramming through legislation that hurts most Americans so that those who already have too much can get even more.
comment in response to post
yeaaaahhhhhhhhh...that sounds like bullshit.
comment in response to post
Let him. And don't back down. And then make him pay all your legal fees out of his own pocket--no dinging the taxpayers for this round of nonsense.

Really? When is it my turn to ride in the jet?
comment in response to post
Stop with the "mays" and "potentiallys". It absolutely WILL take money out of the pockets of workers to fund billionaires' private jets and yachts.
comment in response to post
Let's start with Texas, which Roy represents. We'll see how it goes, and if it's a success, we'll expand it to other states like Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. If he's defined "meeting the moment" as making life miserable for those who aren't billionaires, his state goes first.

There's a reason the dystopian evil corporation in The Boys is called Vought.

Total impact to the deficit Republicans claim is due to "waste and fraud" (spoiler alert: it's tax cuts): $4 TRILLION DOLLARS.

A $400 million jet they've been trying to ditch for 5 years. Give Saudi Arabia preferred access to Nvidia computer chips. Billions in giveaways and real estate plans to the Trump family Centralizing an AI data center (using aforementioned US-funded chips) in Saudi Arabia. Draw your own conclusions.

Hey Axios--while you're focusing on the EX president, the CURRENT president has decimated the Emoluments Clause, showed erratic judgement and poor decision-making so awful the US has been downgraded by Moody's for the first time, and posts mental word salad that makes Joe Biden sound Shakespearean.
comment in response to post
Maybe Comer needs to undergo a cognitive test, as he is apparently unaware that Joe Biden is no longer President. Also that autopens have been used for decades--even by his Lord and Savior.
comment in response to post
It's always somebody else's fault, isn't it?
comment in response to post
Should be even higher but every little bit helps. Especially since Moody's just downgraded the US and the latest figures show it adding $4 trillion in debt (thanks, party of fiscal responsibility!)
comment in response to post
No sh*t. Meantime they'll point to the relocation of the Newark operations base to Philly without mentioning that that happened 2 years ago and there weren't any issues until the Doge incels got there. Also Sean Duffy & Rs voted against FAA funding when he was in Congress.
comment in response to post
So why is all the media focused on the mental health of the EX President, rather than the one who's fat, ketchup-encrusted fingers have access to the nuclear button?
comment in response to post
What do you mean "MAY"??? It WILL. And the NYT and other media should be pointing that out loudly, all day long, without the weasel words.
comment in response to post
Yeah, she kinda forgot to mention that part during her hearings...add lying under oath to the list.
