Yeah, I'm guessing she hasn't thought that one all the way thru. The point stills stands. This is kind of the ideal "imperfect ally" looks like like, someone you can tell is genuinely making the effort and carvings, but fucks up sometimes.

The thing that makes it hard is that most people are both. The exact same person can be devastatingly kind and bafflingly shitty, sometimes in the same sentence. I think the trick is to just accept that, reward the good and discourage the shitty, and try not to ruminate on the whole mess of it.
