All these motherfuckers do is pass on costs to others. They don't care.

I once reported a pharmacy to my insurance company for a suspiciously high billed amount for a generic drug and was told "you didn't have to pay it, so why do you care"

I'm hoping the insurance companies don't go along with this. For a while, they've covered vaccines "recommended" by the CDC at 100% But if the recommendations change...

It definitely works with UTM. I'm running the aarch64 version of Ubuntu 24.04, but apparently you can also turn on Rosetta support and run x86_64 VMs (You might have a problem if it's a 32-bit distro? Or it wants to boot in classic BIOS mode?)

TBH, this sounds like NCMEC just whining about E2EE again. The article says Meta sends 2/3rds of the reports they receive. It also says: "NCMEC also noted that Google, X, Discord, Microsoft and the cloud software company Synchronoss all submitted at least 20% fewer reports than in 2023."

After several power supply issues just outside of the warranty period, I think I'm done with Synology. This is just another nail in the coffin.

Pro-tip: get a Giordano's to-go pizza from the hole in the wall nearby, and walk it over to their outside bar. They will let you eat it there.

How is this different from mobile boarding passes used today? Southwest offers automated check-in. Many international outbound flights in the US use facial recognition for boarding. TSA has many lanes that just need an ID. We're basically already there.

On Free File Fillable Forms it sounds like IRS will accept it if EITHER last year's AGI or your selected PIN matches

You can establish and push to a new repo anonymously too! The original authors will still be mentioned in the commits, but no one has to know where the push came from (I am separately trying to FOIA this, but ... good luck)

How are things with preclearance? I doubt Canada would allow any detention unless there was a serious crime involved? Border towns are screwed, tho
