Dude, post it! :D If I ever inspire you enough to pick up a pencil, even if the result has nothing in common with what I draw, I definitely wanna see it! <3 Go wild!

Oh, nah, that was offline. :D People are often shocked when they imagine some high class artists sipping champagne while painting in oils and what they GET is the chaos gremlin who's chewing on a crayon.

Oh, yes. Mostly that a lot of adults are really shite. XD

Oh, lots of people had lots of answers. But many of the answers seem just... ignorant, cruel, downright malicious. And honestly the worst were always the religious ones.

Finished and scanned forest dragon~. :D It took a bit of time to edit out all the cat hair. :D Traditional media, first markers, then acrylics, on bristol paper. A4.

"you'll have excuse some friendly-fire." "It does look generative AI on its face. Weird of you to think you're getting bullied over honest mistakes." Wat. What honest mistake? Having your art stolen by ML-companies? Fuck, I need a drink.

Some answers in this thread make me want to dig out the vodka. And normally, the strongest drink I have at home is fresh orange juice... :0

Some jokes just write themselves if you have the patience and fatalism to endure till the punchline hits.

Made the joke in a group of fans that the whole "free to use" or even "affordable to use" will only last till they can't work without it anymore. They did not like me much for that and I was berated for... let me check my notes... "not understanding the free market". uwu

Someone said that my art looks like I used a colour picker on a pride flag and holy shit, I love that compliment! :D

There is ALWAYS going to be someone who goes "Hold my beer".

And of course I'm telling you all to pay to read the article and not use platforms like archive.ph to read it for free.

For just a second I thought that it would be amazing if Genndy Tartakovsky (Samurai Jack) got to play with the world, doing a whole 150'+ movie based on nothing else but the stunning visuals, telling a story in glimpses. And then I remembered why I don't go to the cinema since Thor 2 anymore.

Sorry for the (hopefully small) spoiler then, I had it sitting on my shelf a while now and half-assumed you would probably have read it before me. I was still finishing another series and the style just didn't fit, felt weird to read it between parts of the Warhammer 40k Horus Heresy. :D

Just finished the third volume and adored it. :D Each book she writes is just going to be a treat but starting always scares me a bit: she has a tendency to write things that have the emotional impact of a freight train on Acid. :D I have to reread her Matthew Swift Chronicles soon~.

A friend gifted me those years ago, what a trip! 80

(The second one still haunts me and terrifies me and makes me wonder if my life will ever be as it was before I read it again. It is one of the best books I will NEVER touch again.)

My favorite book will forever be "The End Of The Day" by Claire North, the story of Charlie, who works as Harbinger of Death. It is - ironically - the book I read whenever I feel down and need a pick-me-up :D Though North writes the most amazing trauma too. Try "The Pursuit of William Abbey."

OOOH, LABYRINTH OF REFRAIN! That game was so amazing. :D And your art makes me want to pick it up again! <3 <3 <3 Such a beautiful piece~.

Ok, the big question. I can break a game WORSE than killing the strongest boss in it with one hit?
comment in response to post
I am honestly contemplating NOT getting 100% in that game and not because I would need to prep for the Telethia to do it. XD
