It really is, I don't know anyone else who has watched it! I rewatch it, too, along with, and this is completely by accident, the Scarlet Pimpernel which also happens to stars Anthony Andrews. I think a lot of the films from that era hold a very special place in my heart.

Funny you should mention Ivanhoe because I remember feeling distinctly attracted to Anthony Andrews. I believe he to great extent formed my distinct taste for well-dressed, well-spoken English gentlemen.

That's right, @jesawyer.bsky.social has been serenading me in my car, in the shower, while I'm cooking - basically everywhere I go. "Where seldom is heard a discouraging word And my skin is not glowing all day...." I love the Fallout version

Well, give us the damn game then! In this case, though, I do believe the cake is a lie..

Agreed, this is too good. I'm carpet bombing my friends with inxile bsky posts and they're starting to resent me but who cares, gotta share the love!

Lord Barbatos, the one true ruler of wind and freedom; our friend who taught us that Genshin lore can be dark and disturbing - all while singing a beautiful song on his lyre and asking for apples and wine. Forever my favourite <3

If he is even remotely as good as our boy Ororon, he's going to be amazing. I didn't expect much from Ororon seeing how a lot of newer 4*s have performed only okay but I literally have a team called Ororon with him as the dedicated electro applier. I look forward to making an 'Ifa' team :)

Swamplands would make for incredible gameplay, imagine hovercrafts, floating settlements, epic monsters.. I've always loved the bog settlements, think it was Murkwater from FO4? I'd love to see more of that!

You're deciding what he would do without knowing him. Has he forced anyone to carry a child to term? Has he denied anyone abortion? No, he and his wife just think, in their home, amongst themselves, that it's not for them. You can be pro-life and still be a good, rational person, you know.

This is really what Alistair is all about, isn't it? Sunshine, rainbows, and cute, fluffy Mabari wardogs. All it's missing is a cheese wheel and we're set - I'm ofc assuming he's leaning on a lamp post xD

@lanyu1227.bsky.social Is it okay to use this as my desktop background? I really want to look at this ray of sunshine every time I open my pc <3

Privately being pro-life doesn't make you a bad person. If you force your beliefs on others or prevent them from doing what they believe in, then you're a bad person. As long as he is not actively pushing the agenda that women can't decide over their bodies, I don't care. And I'm pro-choice.

I've spent whole days playing Civ, there's no way I'm getting involved with that game again. I sit down in the morning and whoosh, it's midnight. And I'm still in my pyjamas.

I don't think there will be any consequences for all the idiotic, degrading, and downright cruel actions the tards in power have been taking but one can hope? Right? I'm so sorry for all the sane Americans who have to live through this and I don't think I've ever been more glad I was born where I am

Cassette tapes. I have a bunch in the back of my cabinet but no cassette player (not counting my walkman - can you tell my age? xD). Having to rewind those with a pencil when your player messed them up was both annoying and strangely zen-like in its monotony.

Yeah, this is adorable. The way he's looking at us, a little bit dere and shy but still kind of happy we're watching xD #HydroArchonOfMyHeart

This is my take, too. I like the funny, innocent manchild because I'm the same. I don't like responsibilities, I love to play games, I'd pretend to be ill to get out of social gatherings with people I don't know well.. match made in heaven, basically xD

I think if the house was deemed as architecturally significant as people seem to think, it should have been protected somehow. It wasn't so I don't think we have the right to complain. I would be more than a little annoyed myself to buy a house only to find out I couldn't do with it what I wanted.

As a general software developer, albeit on a much smaller scale, I'm both surprised and not really by the fact that it follows the structure of 'ordinary' software development so closely. Obviously, departments differ but on the whole it is very similar. I never would have guessed but it makes sense

And sick days are just that, sick days. You don't have to spend vacation days on it, nor is there a set amount you can be ill a year. And this goes for everyone, not just those with jobs with perks. The warehouse worker, the McDonald's employee, the cleaning lady - they all have the same rights.

I have a penchant for angst, too, but when it comes to Fenris I was shell-shocked enough by all the horrors Danarius and Hadriana put him through to want everything to be sunshine and roses from now till the end of time. I couldn't bear it if he had to die before his time, too.
