Not as articulate as i wanted to be, but yes, positives in population (large % of which are immigrants from soccer/football cultures), growing domestic culture since at least the ‘70s, vast wealth to support/grow talent. I mainly meant to compare US Federation to Spurs mgmt group who always fail.

Mauricio Pochettino is the perfect manager for #USMNT. The USA are the Tottenham Hotspur of world football. We’re perennial underachievers, not as big as we think we are, a problematic executive group, incredibly rich but unwise with resources, and when success falls in our laps we blow it.
