It's even more imprecise to say a fighting game merely having an anime could make it an anime fighting game. Is Virtua Fighter an anime fighter now? Is Tekken? Is Aum Shinryuku?

Anyway is High Voltage Gowkaiser an anime fighting game, or is High Voltage Gowkaiser a fighting game anime?

"Some kinda fighting game terminology" Ok but if they knew about the fighting game terminology or that it could be that why not just stfu for a bit? Look it up, and what it means. Like you can't be this literal about it while acknowledging it's something tons of people already know what it means.

I know. Last I heard the company was being sued by a company they sued for making a Zorro musical because the company came to them then were like "wait this shit's free" then The Zorro company made their own musical allegedly ripped from the guys they were suing. It's a mess.

Works that are public domain but that are, or feel disputed often get less adaptations. This is why Zorro also doesn't have many unlicensed adaptations even though he's definitely public domain.

It's hard to paraw which versions are "officially licensed" and which aren't but I'm pretty sure the 2000 animated series was from the public domain.

What do you mean a dumb idea, that's the premise behind Time Killers, World Heroes and Terrordrome: The Sequel Without, Copyrighted Characters.
And I know that sounds snarky but actually it's always interesting and can be done differently.

True BUT the novelization came out first, and that's public domain. I think they found out when they tried to sue Nintendo over Donkey Kong.

Why not? Would have been better a year ago but now's good too.

I consider that I have been reading about this for a long time, and copyright's continued expansion has been what large corporations want.
This is why I am confident to to say big companies want long copyright because they paid hella money for it be long.

to get them to make copyright laws what they are.
(Lobbying is when someone tries to woo politicians to make laws they want)

Wow, you sure didn't understand what I meant by "The Next Mickey Mouse". I meant to say "The Next Big Franchise". Companies don't want to make a product that someone else can replicate, they want to make something only they own for a long time. And we know that because they lobbied the government

After all, that is what they lobbied the laws into:To make the next Mickey Mouse, not to make the next Robin Hood.

Mega Corporations like long copyright. If they can own something and not have to compete with others for it's use that's worth more than something they can use but others can as well.
After all of you get big as a competitor m they can buy you. And if you won't sell your descendants will.

I was gonna close it off here but I bet that has happened in Guilty Gear, hadn't it? That feels like it might have happened.but again I don't know as much about the series.
But yeah make more games where a good guy just joins the dark side and stays there. Come on.

I think in KI Kilgore is meant to be Thunder's brother Eagle and if they keep the series going and he stays a big robot with a headgun then it qualifies.

Was Kazuya from Tekken ever good? Cuz that series I don't know much about him cuz but I get a sense that he became a bastard in his first ending but I haven't really given that a look.

I was gonna say Siegfried/Nightmare from SC but his case is special in that he managed to stop being evil but also because he wasn't strictly "good" when he started. The boy had lots of problems.

And I guess the main one I can think is Frost, who was Sub Zero's perky protege ONE game, but then she became evil in her ending...and that's it. They rebooted the universe and she was still evil every time.

He did his damage, profited from it, and now he wants to walk away from it to live the normal life he took from other people. And you know what?
I hope he doesn't succeed at it. I hope he never successfully escapes Kyle Rittenhouse The Public Figure. May his heart be jailed by his actions forever.

"I didn't vote for Nazi shit" You were warned about the nazi shit. It gives you The Ick to see it play out but you chose this.
There's no special place in history for people who didn't think it was gonna be THAT bad.

For anybody else that's also f****** stupid: ICE isn't going after no criminals at all anymore. Any working with ICE is working with ICE to deport landscapers and construction workers.
