So to review: 1. He never should have been deported. The admin admitted that. 2. The admin said he was an MS-13 member and also they couldn’t get him back. They lied. 3. They are now charging him with a crime that they did not mention until literally now.

Where is this “appeared to be selling marijuana” thing coming from? There was no allegation about that in any of the documents previously been released relating to the 2019 arrest.

Kind of wild that the New York Times has more sympathy for an influencer who posted child porn than it does for trans children who want to be left alone.

He wasn’t a criminal when they claimed that as a reason to deport him to a prison in a foreign country, so they’re hell-bent on making him one now.

okay yeah this should move your prior on the strength of the case

this doesn’t make anyone seem tough, it makes them seem too soft to be in politics

Punishing administrative or political units run by the opposition is pure, uncut autocracy.

And according to Sean Duffy, 45% of them were murdered.

METLIFE: “.. the [unrounded] unemployment rate has increased every month in 2025. “.. Job leavers dropped to their lowest level since COVID. Although the headline offers solace to those expecting a benign outcome in the face of higher volatility, the details show an ongoing softening.”

VARNEY: 8,000 manufacturing jobs were lost in May. That's not what you wanted to see. CHAVEZ-DeREMER: Well, we're certainly holding steady. VARNEY: But how could we're losing those jobs? CHAVEZ-DeREMER: Well, we're certainly holding steady.

We asked 1,000 Americans what they thought of the Trump presidency so far. Here is what political independents said. I would be pretty worried about this if I were the Republican Party trying to keep my House majority in 2026. Link to more: www.gelliottmorris.com/p/what-voter...

Mamdani v. Cuomo would be the most Bluesky v. X election possible.

Morgan Stanley is in the bunker with Elon. They cannot be rehabilitated. The only medicine that can possibly cure their disease is fire.

If a seven-year-old can’t walk to the store the fault lies not with the parents but with the community.

This isn't actually funny at all; it's a window into Trump's worldview, because he absolutely expected any German official to be upset over the Nazis losing. Because if Trump were German, he would be. Because things like "they were fucking Nazis" are way less important to him than "on my team"

We don’t need to back off the American Gestapo and we don’t need to respect its agents. People exercising state violence are not entitled to anonymity. Nor are the people directing the state violence.

In 1936, FDR closed out his re-election campaign by bragging to a massive crowd at Madison Square Garden that “organized money” hated him “and I welcome their hatred.” He took 60% of the vote in a 523-8 electoral college landslide. FDR knew having the right enemies could be a useful thing.

Here it is: Musk thinks he is owed a say in Trump’s policy because of how much he spent on the campaign.

I can't overemphasize how bizarre and embarrassing this is for the head of our FDA to be repeating podcaster talking points about seed oils and flagrantly demonstrating that he doesn't know anything about evidence analysis or human nutrient requirements.

The leader of the free world, folks

oh my good lord

Those who fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it. So let's look at what happened following the 2002 Bush steel tariffs: Some steel-producers gained, but steel-users lost, and their losses were permanent, as many simply shut down. Point is, bad policy has a long life.
