There's not much tying me to this world or life left. It's enough, and it'll always be enough, but it fills me with a deep sorrow and sadness that is hard to brush aside. I feel isolated from society and don't have a home to feel safe in anymore. The work I'm doing is hard.

I can't stress enough how insanely close to the actual plan in AC 6 this operation was. It is really cool, weirdly effective, and also kind of scary. Strapping bombs to AI flown consumer drones opens doors to some diabolical usages in the future. I compared it to the advent of MGs in WWI.

I worked with his stepmom at the McDonald's in our shared hometown and she was something else. She believed humans walked with dinosaurs and had some real interesting things to say about aliens. She was a sweet woman, but insane on many levels.

It's a very complete statement through and through. Worth replaying every time you think about it. A great critique of military shooters and our relationship to them and the propaganda that they hide. Plus the moment where you have a shootout to Deep Purple's Hush lives in my head forever.

That's there, sure, but I always thought it was a more thoughtful antiwar piece than just the big moment everyone remembers. The gameplay is tied to the themes behind everything and the 4th wall breaks haven't been topped in a game since imo.
