Hard to wrap my head around the fact that 1 in 5 voters in Germany think they will be better off if I would not live and work here. 🤡 they voted for the AFD for different reasons. At the end of the day, migration and foreigners is a big part of their agenda. 4 in 5 do want me here (or don't care)

Last week was roadmapping day for our product team. Which meant, aligning what the we should build based on what the company wants to achieve. It is the first we are using a combination of Atlassian products: Atlas, Jira Product Discovery and plain old Jira. I am optimistic about the upcoming year.

I was terrible at playing Go (Baduk) and I lost to my friends while in grad school regularly. I enjoyed the game, but I just sucked at it. Then I stopped playing. But once on a trip to Korea I bought a go board for me. I did not play, it was because of the memories and it was part arsenal at home.

A find impressive that some people work at startups and are unable to deliver anything, but then they keep finding big opportunities working at big corporations. I guess being able to sell smoke upstream and make PowerPoints has more value than delivering value to users.

TARS - Target, Acquisition, Retention & Satisfaction - is my go to framework to evaluate product features. It helps understand not only the novelty of a feature, but also its usefulness. The main issue with it, it requires you to have a proper data infrastructure.
