The budget bill indeed increases the debt in a wasteful manner. The DOGE cuts have a negative effect on the country & globally. The cuts were made to the +"caring" agencies of the state, while proposed increases are for immigration enforcement & the punitive right hand of the state à la Project2025.

This is the U.S.-Mex border in the remote San Rafael Valley. Trump's moving forward at breakneck speed to wall this place off forever. They're racing to replace these wildlife-permeable vehicle barriers with an impenetrable wall—blocking jaguars, ocelots, black bears and deer dead in their tracks.

It is great news that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is back! All the others should likely be returned asap. If there are charges against him and others, it is more than OK to pursue them in court following due process. He is 'charged" but innocent until proven guilty in a court, not in a press conference.

The budget is indeed a "disgusting abomination;" it takes $ from the needy & middle-class & gives more to billionaires. They used Musk to destroy positive programs & agencies that nobody else would have agreed to (InstxPeace, DOE, VOA, WilsonC, etc.) while the budget increases spending, waste & debt

So, the current admin. is cuttings funds for the National Weather Service, NOAA & meteorological research and forecasting while also cutting FEMA and its funds to respond to the effects of natural & weather-related disasters. Trump is cutting parts of the gov. that work well & putting lives at risk.

I'll be talking about the new travel ban with Pedro Rojas at the Univision national evening news (6:30 pm EST). The ban will make things unnecessarily more difficult for immigrants, visitors & foreign citizens' family members. Less tourism $ and more discretion for officials at ports of entry.

The Supreme Court lifted a lower-court order that kept humanitarian parole protections in place for more than 500k migrants from four countries: Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua & Venezuela. It also allowed the admin to revoke temporary legal status from about 350k Venezuelan migrants in another case.
