The ideal height typically allows the dog to eat without lowering their neck too much or stretching too high. A good rule of thumb is to position the bowl around the level of their lower chest.
Mine should be a wee bit higher. Oslo is a 40 kg Maremma.

Small dogs (under 20 lbs): 2–6 inches off the ground
Medium dogs (20–50 lbs): 7–14 inches off the ground
Large dogs (50–100 lbs): 12–18 inches off the ground

Accessibility for dogs with special needs: Dogs recovering from surgery or those with physical limitations may find it easier to eat and drink from elevated bowls.

Better posture: Elevated bowls encourage a more natural eating position, which can help prevent musculoskeletal issues over time.
Cleaner feeding area: Raised bowls can help minimize spills and keep the feeding area tidier, reducing mess and food contamination.

Reduced strain on joints and neck: Larger dogs, senior dogs, or those with arthritis may experience less strain when eating from a raised bowl, as they don’t have to bend down as much.

Oh, you mean where it says, "Version Dev". Yes, I can see how that might seem confusing. It is, indeed, Canary IB 27871. Canary is not tied to any particular or actual Version.

Dev is not in the discussion nor was it ever.
"Build 27871 (released yesterday) is for the Canary Channel, not the Dev Channel." <-- That is true AND known forever, already.

Went from 858 > 871. Being completely 'normal'... "fun with 'putters" 😂 Showed one in the 60s as "Completed" and 871 "Pending Restart". This (was) in 858, at that moment.

Used troubleshooter and mentioned it in our thread for the Build in MS Answers Forum. Surprisingly, nobody has commented in return.

This is via WU. No issues normally.

This, STILL, will not install. Hope the next Build will. Never had this happen previously. OS tests perfectly 'clean'.

Grrr 😠 Was firing up my IB to see if I could give this a go, see if I had it... and then I remembered 😖 It's a VM that doesn't 'see' the mic (insert swearing of your choice). Oh well 😔 Hey, I remember when there was "Hey Cortana" 😆😂

Have the new updated version, now. No changes, YET. Still same as 11.2502.18.0 is/was.

I have this with ALL the features, BUT with version 11.2502.18.0 AND in BOTH Canary IB AND Win11 GA. 🤷♂️
