A gray haired nerd in Ohio, after way too many other States. Tomatoes on the porch, ready for planting. Basil & peppers in the basement, making me wait.

When was the CA National Guard nationalized? Isn't it under command of the Governor?

Which one killed JFK?

Okay, I now have started a meme collection.

Given that GOP rhetoric since the election has all been, "Daddy's home and he's taking off his belt," this is all too expected.

Women in these films always look better ugly/plain/awkward than made over. I have always found the gimmick silly.

CD cases were wonderful, and prevented a lot of damage. For good or ill, media costs dropped fast enough that they were too expensive for data CDs. I last saw them on MO discs in the mid-90s.

That picture is what I keep thinking of, but was hesitant to be the first to bring it up. (Also Soviet May Day parades.)

Are they barricading the Stonewall Inn as well?

My impression of his history is threatening lawsuits against people who cannot afford to fight him. He only punches down. So he may file something, if he has any remaining lawyers willing to risk disbarment for frivolous litigation. He is a textbook public figure, and Musk's claim isn't new.

So one operation destroyed Russian bombers AND crippled Russian logistics. Brilliant.

Doing yard work earlier, I startled a white tail fawn, about 16 inches tall. Our yard has been doe approved for several years. Hopefully the little one didn't go far.

James Watt proclaimed that we didn't need conservation because Jesus was coming to renew the planet. That camp is next level Don't Care.

I have heard the words "garlic" and "too much" used together, but I do not understand the message.

The drones risk a bad ending. But wars never have good endings. Everyone loses. One side just loses less.

If people disagree, obviously they must be too stupid to understand your message.

I've read sever accounts of workers not knowing what they were and calling their managers -- who also may not know what they are. I last used them sometime in the '80s.

This reminds me of a '90s era PSA in California. A guy lights up in a bar. Hot woman walks up and offers to show him the smoking section. He of course follows her, as she leads him blindly to the back door and closes it behind him. "The smoking section. It's outside."

Bless the etymologists, for you can tell where they are coming from.

To add: The filed for the extension at the end of their response window, justifying it as "for reasons" (obviously paraphrased).

And sometimes he blows up launch pads as well. So, multitasking.

It is a belief mindset. Some consider that to be a religion. For the most part, I do not feel that way. However, some have an evangelical zeal about converting the misguided to their view. For those, I'd say it is pretty close.

This is why I do not like those (mostly right wing) altered US flags -- thin blue line and such. Come up with a new flag, but don't mangle the one you claim to respect.

I looked it up, but I don't think I can handle listening to over an hour of this doofus.

I saw it the firs time because I was staying with a friend and his mom wanted a break from teens. I'd heard the radio ads and was convinced it was the dumbest movie ever made. That changed in the theater.

I see no Good Guys in this whole sad situation. There are many Villains, and many more Victims. And none of the Villains want to stop.

I'm not a believer. But if I am wrong, I really hope that "I was hungry and ye gave me no meat" part plays out if full for these monsters.

Wordle 1,434 3/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 I was mildly shocked. I was just trying to reposition that first match.

Trump has never known how to negotiate, even in business. He only enters situations where he thinks he has the greater power, and then bullies people.

I sometimes wish I'd been born into a different time, but at least my timing allowed me to grow up reading Herblock. That may make up for a lot.

Well, the GOP is concerned about her relationship with Marcy.
